    Top ranking players

I am in need of some help, sort of. I would like to have a top ranking player on my friends list. Many riders on my list are great (and much better then me) but it wasn't until I started racing ghosts of top players that my times started to show greater improvement. I sent GTdave a friend request months ago and sent a message to him saying hello. He can do things on the bikes that are amazing and is not a cheater. Racing his ghost has taught me alot. He declined my request and it suddenly became clear that racers with great times probably get tons of requests, or only accept certain riders. I do not want to randomly just send out friend requests but would be grateful if one of you guys could let me know that if I did, it would be accepted. I could use the help. Thanks in advance! - Jonny-

I would guess it has to do with him having so many people on his friends list he doesn't want any more. I've got 23 on my list and don't think I'd add too many more. I send out gifts everyday and at a certain point, too many friends makes sending gifts tedious.

Yeah, thats the way it goes. I trimmed mine down from 500 friends and 700-800 requests last month... down to 250 freinds and 0 requests. A few weeks later I already picked up another 25 friend requests since then (WTF?) If its that bad for someone at my moderate level (barely played for the last 6 months), I cant imagine what its like for that subset of notorious players like GtDave.

Honestly..... if you are gunning for the top ghosts you dont need to use the friends list (I dont use it). Just it the "double-arrow" button at top of the list and it will take you to the top of the list; no scrolling required. Skip a few hackers and you'll probably always find GTDaves ghost right around there.

I am ranked in the 60s (I think) and I have grinded most tracks down to really solid times. I wouldn't consider myself "top tier" but maybe the tier right under that, if that helps. I usually just race top ghosts though, to be honest. I'm not sure if I already have you on my list or not, sorry. I almost never check my requests because I am trying to keep the list low (because of the BS freezing issues), but hit me up if you'd like!

Thanks fellas. I could care less about receiving gifts personally. I send them, but don't take it personally if others don't reciprocate. Shoot, I have some friends whom have never sent me a gift lol. I have only ever sent maybe 4 friend requests too, but then I realized the difference in racing the top riders. Funny you said "the notorious GTdave" lol, I have to be honest he can do things with the bikes that are truly impressive. And in my opinion go beyond just being "good" at trials frontier. I have learned alot from you guys. Thanks so much. I will send a friend request to you Justin, thanks for the offer. I TOTALLY understand about the issues having a bloated friends/requests list causes.

Oh, and I see you guys consistently in the top 100, but to xitooner I am not gunning for the top players haha, I have set my self expectations slightly lower lol considering players like GTdave... I have yet to come within 1.8 seconds of ANY of his times lololol. Ugh, I am still working on the dexterity it requires to negotiate the tracks like you guys. But, I am getting better. I have not raced hanks420 or justinman yet but I'm sure it will be just as frustrating lol.

GTdave removed all his friend 2-3 days ago because he had a lot of issues with the game, it looks like it helped.
Having a big friend list is not helpfull like for example loading the leaderboards.
Anyway you can add me if you want, i have two or three good times
    Cheers

And how do you guys decide who to delete from your friends list? I saw (read) that someone made their decision based on how long its been since one of their friends had played, deleting people who never play. But how did he figure that out?

The last time i removed players, i used uplay app on the phone. You were able to see since your friends had played,
I had 400 friends and tracks LB were so long to appear, i delete 300 of them and it helped a lot.
Now i don't know the best method with that new ubisoft club thing
