    Bolt Cutters Please

I don't know where'd you'd fit them into the controls, seeing the D-pad is taken up, but a pair of bolt cutters would be handy to have for fencing, which is currently C4 proof... and not having a vehicle on my side of the fence also means I have to take the long way around.

Maybe my squad can carry a pair of cutters that I can call upon...

Love this idea. I feel like something simple like this would really help give the player more approach options. Now you always have to enter the base via the same routes. How awesome would it be to cut a hole in the fence and take that enemy by surprise?

Also I really feel like we need the option to use our c4 on walls and more doors. You know.. Freedom of choice and all that?

Absolutely! Breach and clear options is very much in the vein of ghost recon tactics. Silent but deadly,

Control Suggestion: Put the bolt cutters in the explosives checklist, then maybe explore the possibility of other utilities, not just explosives.

Good idea. On uneven ground you can sometimes crawl under fences where the fence post is.

This would be a great addition!!!!! Or at least give us a silent method for taking down a chunk of fence.

I guess the problem with bolt cutters is then each piece of fence has to have it's own hitzones, breakaway points, etc in order for the cutters to work. We know the fence flies away in big chunks which seems to indicate the object is a whole piece instead of strands of wire.

To allow cutters to work they might have to put in special pieces of fence that can be cut, but even that might be too much of a drain on system resources. There are ways to allow access through a fenced area, but I'm not sure which method would have the least impact on hardware. The simplest solution might be allowing for climbing over the fence anywhere, but I don't know what it would take to make all of the fences climb points.

Simple, allow us to replace the drone or binoculars with bolt cutters.

Why have bolt cutters? fences become useless, so lets just rid of them all together pretty much is the result of bolt cutters, also there are ways in like a fence panel not fixed or put back where it belongs leaving a hole for entry
