Can our clothes also wear out, please?

It works with weapons, which degredate over time. Also some of the costumes (especially the Dying Earth one) do have this worn out look. It would be super cool if our clothes would wear out, too. And like with the weapons, we then could always reset its clean and intact looks.

you friggin serious thats a stupid idea no one wants to play a video game where you have to re edit the out fit after a ****ing mission. Ex military pretty sure my crye precision gear could last a week without wearing out . How about adding NVGs... the quad focals DEVGRU uses ,, how about ifixing the appearnance of the fast helmet / low cut helmet

He means PROPS, nvg googles on your helmet, i honestly like the idea of eye lenses nvg becouse its a real thing being tested, but thermal ? nope that is a juge stretch, you need a lot of power for thermals.

also thermal in this game need a real overhaul,in what is considered hot and what isnt, you cant see anything when using cos it just see tress as blobly mess, thats not how thermal cameras work.

No they are NOT interesting ideas! Don't turn this game into a survival game. I don't want my weapon to break down after a few hours of use because game time is sped up or my boots to fall off after a day instead of a year. I hate this type of stuff! This is GHOST RECON. Don't go further away from the source material than you already have!!

The Pants Already Have Mud All Over The Legs, You Get Blood on You When You're Downed.
    I'd Say That's Good Enough.

    Yeah...
Not being rude, I think that - if this is ever implemented - this should be left optional in the menu somewhere like 'Toggle Clothes Wear Out', mainly because It would be very frustrating (to the point of being a turn-off) to keep resetting our clothes (both individual pieces or our entire outfit every time they're worn out).

Weapon degrading is fine because it's disconnected from our player character, and clothes already can get dirty from changing stances (e.g. going prone chest down already makes the front of your clothes covered in dirt and mud) or being in contact with surfaces. I think having clothes wear out will cause glitches with the current rain effect on clothes and these muddy effects by going prone and et cetera.

I Imagine the amount of work involved for something that might be 'cool' would be unjustified. Far more pressing items on the devs 'to do' list. I think the dirt on gear is fantastic, wear on weapons paint is also something that works well. In fact I don't see nearly enough positive feedback for the devs on this. I think I have only just got over the wow fact and have been playing since release.

Crye gear is good but not that good, plenty of it got mashed up on ops in Afghan, at least by UKSF. Platatac was getting good feedback on durability. Personally had a few tears and snags on the stitching on my G2' MC Cryes and I'm not even Mil.

Don't wish to knock your post OP, we are entitled to post suggestions and I imagine maybe in the next release, explosions and burn damage on kit might get implemented. I'm sure many years from now features like this won't be so fantastic and will be part and parcel of milsim games.
