Yeah I think a lot of people are hating on things they don't fully understand, simply because everyone else complains about it. It grows and grows like this as more and more join the bandwagon and eventually the entire meaning behind it all is lost.Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
I'm also very confused as to how they got their stats. Usually I'm in support of taking hard evidence like that over anecdotes, but it's also how you interpret the data. I think somewhere there they made a mistake, because at this point, it isn't just isolated examples which demonstrate the problem of the PK's light spam - it's a real thing.
This is great to hear. Thank you.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post

I saw one of your best testing devs playing Tru3t4l3nt in a duel, and, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but he was awful. Throwing heavy combos with his Orochi... I mean: You link that to the data, telling you "Raider is a PK killer", and as a result you nerf PK's sidestep.
It still feels this game is in a beta state, and we players are part of your testing team. Well, Maybe you should listen to players before data. They are the ones who play the game.
A lot of skilled players would gladly help you out with the balance issues. Let them be a part of it.
Just because we developed the game, doesn't mean we're pros at it. Luckily, we have a community of fantastic players to give us feedback that we use alongside our game data to make our decisions for the future.Originally Posted by cha_cha_cha-2.0 Go to original post![]()
Well, that sounds symphatic.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
But, concerning PK, i am with the community. Especially on console, she is too fast i'd say. And there is another thing, it takes a little more time for the average console player to complain. You know, you do not alt tab, you needa turn on te PC. However, as aforementioned, she is a very stylish character and the moveset overall is intriguing.
So as discussed in another thread, some of those "issues" may not even be that bad. It could be, that simply 30 fps & added input + display lag make an otherwise fine character op.
I wonder btw, how well in comparision do console people dodge valks legsweep, and how well do pc-players do.
It is dodgeable on console, and it isn't as bad as her light spam. But I am kinda curious ...
I know. And again, I din't mean to be disrespectful. It's just that, there are some inconsistencies between computer data and player data. Lastly, you will have to chose which one to acknowledge.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post

that the people who work for ubisoft don't earn their living making games, i.e. their profession?
that for honor is some kind of fan game? did it start out as a kickstarter or something?
Pretty sure you're trolling but I'll bite, once. You do realise he meant they aren't pros at playing it right? From context and all.Originally Posted by p00k. Go to original post
No disrespect taken. The goal is to find correlations between the player feedback and the game data we collect. For example, players have passionately discussed how Lawbringer needed buffs since release. We took that feedback and after analyzing his stats, we found his 4v4 win ratios were fine but when it came to duels, he had a very low kill count and win rate. Therefore, we knew that we needed to change some of his offensive aspects without overstimulating his ability to crowd control.Originally Posted by cha_cha_cha-2.0 Go to original post
I believe you read that out of context. To clarify, developing a game does not mean that we pro players at playing the game. My comment does not reflect on the hard work and dedication to their craft our developers have put into the game.Originally Posted by p00k. Go to original post
