Lawbringer needed a guard stance speed buff.

    Speculation:

laws do not typically utilize chains while in a duels so buffs to the middle and ending parts of his combos will not really be handy unless you get a nice wall throw/impale

His parry changes were interesting, but he is going to still be gimped if you don't have a wall nearby.

He can interrupt chains without that.

Personally, i think that the LB doesn't really need a faster block. He can interrupt chains without blocking, which can help against the attacks that are to fast for you to parry. IMO the LB should parry attacks with comfortable speed, and interrupt faster chains with his shove/push whatever it's called. Combined, those methods can counter pretty much everything. by the way, if you have no wall nearby, you can use the guaranteed impaling riposte to get close to a wall

Sorry to say but impaling riposte is not guaranteed. It can be blocked even after the patch so not too many options after parry we are back to light riposte.
