Yes to almost everything written here.

The thing that bothers me most is the godlike auto-aim enemies have and the fact that they can always see me through foliage.

Honestly the guys dont have night vision, its pitch black, raining im prone on the ground behind a brush so thick I cant even see their base but they canpin point me as clear as day.

Yeah, I think I know the mission you're talking about. My problem with the vehicles is that, on extreme difficulty, my squad gets spotted almost instantly in any vehicle in any weather. How do the Cartel know that one of their helicopters flying above their base isn't theirs if it isn't making any hostile actions? Or a Unidad base opening fire on an APC where you physically can't even see inside the damn thing. On a side note, I'd like to have the fast roping system implemented as a lot of people have been asking. If they fix the detection then that'd be an awesome way to infiltrate a base!

    @kleinestrijder
I know your pain all too well.... My squad has been wiped out a few times just because some Unidad truck rumbles past in the middle of a mission. We'll all be prone in a bush 20 meters away and we'll be spotted and our plan scrapped. While I like the idea of random elements being injected into the game, I hate how easily these guys spot you....

    #13....Unidad patrols show up instantaneously.....
So I've been noticing that Unidad or even the Cartel, when they call in a patrol, they show up as if they were tailing a couple hundred meters behind just in case. I just had an encounter with a Unidad patrol that spotted my friend, no biggie. We take out 2/3 and the last guy calls for back up. A truck with a minigun shows up in front of us within 10 seconds, and 5 seconds after that another truck pulls up from the opposite side. I get taken down by the 2nd truck, and my friend gets taken out by the minigunner..... This needs a fix. I like that they can call in back up, but we need a grace period for us to mop up and set up for the new reinforcements.

All these are awesome suggestions and most are my nitpicks as well. My 2 cents... why add in the kick the door animation? Do something with that add a special type of enemy, make it a random enemy or helpful informant, or go full on Dark Souls and let another player be in there as an enforcer or something.

Good write up. My biggest gripe is the detection. I wear a Gillie Suit and like crawling in the undergrowth........ the enemy should not be able to see me, if they stand on me then fine. Laying there in the undergrowth and two Narcos walk by just feet away, you keep very still so not to rustle the leaves and avoid detection. This would add extra tension to the game

@whatever, yep for me on a lot of that! Reallly good write up and good points and as Ubi Phobos says the Devs really take on board this feedback and give it the attention it deserves. Even where we may not see immediate changes it all factors into their considerations for the overall franchise.

    Great post.

#11. More enemy density: More bad guys = more dead bad guys.
I love the bigger bases in the game because I have to approach it much more carefully. But some of the other places, say in towns, are sparsely populated. Sure there's the usual place where they all hang out, but why not add patrols of 2 or 3 that walk along the streets, or post up around the entrances to the town to make sure no pesky spec ops unit comes waltzing it. Maybe even add guys that patrol around the helicopters that we need to steal. I know there's already a group there to dissuade us, but they're easy to take care of. Add a couple of patrols walking the perimeter will make these engagements a bit more interesting.

I very much disagree with the amount of enemies in camps or bases. There is way too many soldiers, which limits how stealthy you can be. It also prevent any potential future changes to body despawn time as with current count of hostiles, it would be absolutely impossible to hide bodies manually. Santa Blance is a cartel not an army. Bolivia is a narco state not a battleground in WW2. You can easily have 20 armed soldier in medium camp--that is way too much.

If I can add one thing to this post.

So I'm loving this game, playing through on the hardest difficulty with a coop partner is a lot more challenging than I thought. But I have a few gripes that have lessened the experience for me....

#1. Stealth: Knowing your EXACT location without being physically spotted and calling it in.
This is the biggest problem I've encountered. I'll turn a corner to see an unmarked guy spot me, and if he manages to get a shot off then the entire local gets alerted (that's fine). But if a guy finds a body or I call in a mortar strike or explode my drone while sitting a mountaintop away, they instantly converge on my location.... I'll leave a mine or C4 to be a nice surprise, and when it goes off, they start homing in on my new location! This really needs a fix!

#2. Ammo: And YOU get and ammo crate, and YOU get an ammo crate! Everyone gets ammo crates!
There are far, far too many ammo boxes in the game. I don't ever need to carefully ration my ammo when I know there's probably a box within 10 feet of me somewhere. I like the idea of getting the ammo capacity skill for extended deployments without the possibility of a restock in the near future, making things more tense and having to rely on switching up my weapon choices in certain scenarios. Even just an option to restrict ammo crates to Rebel Bases would be amazing!

#2.5. Switching guns in the start menu: This kind of goes along with #2.
My friend and I have restricted ourselves to only switching guns at an ammo crate (but with the aforementioned problem, it really isn't a problem). But the idea that you can swap out an SMG for a 4 foot sniper rifle, apparently pulling it out of your ***, in the middle of nowhere is ridiculous. Maybe restrict the gun swapping at higher difficulties or have an option to restrict it altogether.

#3. Detection: Enemy sight in heavy foliage areas is ridiculous
I don't mind the detection in urban areas, it's good enough. But in jungle locations and forested areas, I don't understand how a guy can spot me through the immense amount of foliage that separates us! I can't see him for 5 feet away with tons of grass and bushes in the way, how can he see me?? Or even just sitting in a bush waiting for an enemy patrol to walk past, they spot me instantly. I hope there's a fix coming for this.

#3.5. Vehicular Base Infiltration: Saw it happen in a trailer!
Yeah so I saw a steathly video trailer before the game came out where two ghosts climb into a vehicle outside the base, drive in, one hops out as soon as they're through the fence and the other drives it the rest of the way. This looked great! But I've tested this, in all weather conditions and all areas of the game, and nothing works. I've tried driving an Unidad APC into an Unidad FOB while it was the middle of the night and raining, and they instantly started shooting...

#4. Bullet Penetration: Shooting an enemy behind a chainlink fence with a silenced rifle? Nah, can't do that!
I ran into this problem quite a bit through my game. I'd have the MSR or HTI, suppressed, see an enemy patrolling the perimeter with nothing but a chainlink fence separating his head from my bullet. The chainlink fence always wins..... I've found that bullet penetration is a gamble as to whether it'll work or not. 9 times out of 10, it doesn't work. I understand not being able to penetrate through concrete bricks with a pistol, but an HTI should be able to penetrate a chainlink fence when it's suppressed.

    #5. Rebel Support: UNLIMITED MORTARS!
I like how the Rebel Support works for the most part, being able to call in Rebels to help you out is great. And after you call them, you can't call another squad until you travel away. I like that. So why am I able to call in unlimited mortar strikes or spotting over and over? I like the mortar strikes, but I'm not a fan of how often you can call them.

#6. Hit Markers: I hope that shot is going to hit..... Pop. Yup it did.
I'm not a huge fan of the hitmarkers or the sound it makes every time you shoot an enemy. Even just an option to turn off the hitmarkers would be fantastic.

#7. Civilians: "Was that gunfire next to me? Better crouch down and not get out of here!"
For the most part, I like how civilians react. But when I'm setting up ambush sites or preparing traps for the "Defend the radio" missions, I'll pop off a few shots to get civvies to clear the area, but a lot of them will just crouch down and stay right where I want to place a mine, therefore netting me a "CIVILIAN KILLED" flash up on my screen when an enemy vehicle turns up and runs over my mine....

#7.5. Rebel Patrols: They can infiltrate a base better than I can!
On many missions or general base infiltrations I've noticed a trend of our Friendly Rebels simply driving through the base. They don't even shoot anyone, they simply drive in, have a look around and drive out. I'm not sure if this is due to some algorithm with where cars can drive, but it kind of seems like a base shouldn't just allow Rebels to enter a base. Or even in general I've seen a lot of Unidad or Cartel checkpoints blatantly ignore the Rebel truck with a minigun attached to the bed drive straight through.

#8. Ghillie Suits: That bush next to the other bushes must be our target!
I know it's just supposed to be a cosmetic thing, but maybe make ghillie suits have a slight detection reduction bonus in areas with lots of foliage? Just something would be great... And please add more ghillie suit options to the game! Something that I can wear over my backpack would also be appreciated...

#9. Ghost Packs in the Store: Major gripes with this.
I have no problems with microtransactions, well actually I do, but that's besides the point! If I love a game, I'll invest in the transactions to keep the content coming. But when I bought some of the packs, I couldn't help but notice I can't do any personalizing touches to the gun or the cosmetic stuff. They come as they are, no customizing... I got the Bren because I loved using that gun in WWII games, only to find that I can't change a single thing on the gun. Or how I can't change the colour of the helmet. I love the customization in the game, but I'm going to forego buying any more weapon/cosmetic packs unless I can get a gun I can truly make mine. I don't use any of the "unique guns" in the game because I like having my own personal touch to them.

#9.5. Store Items: Kind of a continuation.
Add more things to choose from!!! I'd like to buy a pack that adds new attachments that I can put on to my gun, not just buy a pack of the attachments that are already in the game. Or buying a pack of new vests to wear or new helmets to make my soldier look like a proper operator! Or new camouflages that I can put on my existing clothing! I love the amount of customization, and I don't mind paying a few more bucks to add to the amount I can customize.

    #10. Mismatched/tinted camouflage: Pretty Straightforward....
I've noticed that some things like the t-shirt has a slightly darker tint to the camouflage that I have on the rest of my character. As well as the backpack having a slightly lighter tint.

That being said for #11, I can understand not adding more enemies to actual missions. They're pretty carefully crafted to make sure the mission is complete-able. In the general world sense though, we could use a few more baddies to open up on.

That's about all that I can think of. I know there's more that I could list, but either they're such a big problem that I know they would never be able to implement them without changing a massive amount of the game, or that they're already being posted in official threads. Example being the random events.

I do love the game, I really do, I poured lots of hours into it already with more to come. If they can fix these problems then I have no doubt it can be one of the top games of the year. Keep up the good work Ubisoft!

Anyone else have something they'd like to chime in with?
Please can we have a ability to turn off the markers in the mini map, I can turn off the marker above the bad guys heads but they still show in on the mini map.

yep. that sucks... I've been thinking a lot of things that could have been added or just finished to be implemented that would improve greatly the experience...
Little touches, like a damn clock beside the minimap or wherever, so we could see what time it is without pulling out the drone or binoculars (i've never encountered an operator that didn't have a clock of sort with him, actually - even if it was the foretrex - and i've met a few...), avoiding to start a nightly mission at 4.30 in the morning and having all the enemies waking up while walking by.

I've actually thought of lots of other stuff that could have been cool and should use stuff already implemented quite easily, that may have been discarded in benefit of the casual players, not considering the amount of people that came back to ghost recon hoping to find the game to play as you would like, like a ghost and not like just cause (i.e. a bonus/malus system for stealth/damage reduction for the gear/clothes you are using, like it was with the first rainbow sixes and ghost recon, the thing that almost everybody is asking: to not be able to change weapon whenever but just on the ammo caches (would be simple to implement, no? it's already there!) or a commander mode with the drone, to do stuff like the first GR allowed, controlling teammates individually and telling them what do to... you are stuck in place anyway, while droning, so you could as well go with some planning, no?). Other stuff, like rappelling, melee combat and stuff would require new models, animations and some gameplay mechanics added, so it would be quite the work to add, but the you have the ghillie suite - or are weaing the "right" camo, so you are less prone to be spotted by sight, in change you make more noise so they can hear you better, should be just some checking on existing stuff and a change on parameters

the list would be long and I think I'll wait to post it: I have to conceptually put it down and I want to wait both to finish the game and at least the expansions, BUT this I would say:
some sort of new game+ where things are as they are supposed to, would be nice to have...

edit: the last phrase seems a little bit harsh and I'm sorry for that. I hope it can be understood what i mean by where things are as they are supposed to.
