Some things I want to discuss ..

First and foremost, I love this game. Ubisoft Paris is really starting to hone their open world formula and even though its taken ..what like 4 games to perfect it ,I think you are pretty much nailing it with this game. As you play a game more and more you start to notice the flaws throughout and I would like to talk about some of those flaws in this thread.

1 - We all know the vehicle controls are not very good, more so regarding the helicopters. I was thinking ,since this isn't a military sim why cant the helicopters control like the Drone, It would be a perfect fit for the choppers. as far the gunships, this would benefit them very much but at the very least we need a crosshair because atm its way to difficult and requires far more effort then needed to use the on-board weapons.

2 - Environment Obstacles, things like the god awful chain link fences. I totally get them and why they are there. I don't want them to go away but I would love the option to some how bypass them through circumvention, something like a small cutting tool maybe a torch or wire cutters. Something that lets us sneak in through the fence. To balance it maybe you can make it so that you are locked into the animation making you easy to see for a few moments ? As they are right now, not even a well placed grenade or even a block of C4 destroys them ..wth ?

3 - This world is obviously massive, so much that its hard to focus on one thing, sometimes because there is so much to see. However ,with that said as much as there is to see there is still too little in ways of random events. This game has tons of open ground lets use it even more . I would love to see more open fighting between the rebels and the other factions. I would love to observe a gunfight from afar and maybe decide to join in. Sure you can kind of do this sorta by releasing caged prisoners or calling in aid from the rebels but I would like to see this become more autonomous, maybe dynamic random events like hostage rescues, kidnapping baddies for delivery, hell even recovering goods, intel or whatever from crashed planes which you would be notified of so you can even watch them crash.

I know there is some other things, but I cant think of them atm and I am not home to boot up the game to refresh my memory but if anyone else has stuff they would like to add,by all means go for it.

Oh dam I forgot about another thing, CQC takedowns. Look , I don't know if it was a time issue or just a missed opportunity but lets be honest the takedowns are pretty pathetic to say the least. IIRC , all you do is walk up punch them and push them to the ground. That is some weak stuff Ubi :P Why don't we have knives ? I would love to make the takedowns a little more visceral and violent. I'm not asking for a total redesign of the melee combat but something better would be awesome. Oh and lets use punch or rifle-butt windows out, I hate having to shoot them in order to break them.

Appreciate the kind words and great feedback, Varakharne! We've seen the vehicle controls and fences mentioned previously, and have gotten sentiment pertaining to these on over to the team. Haven't encountered too much discussion on the CQC, but I can absolutely share this along for you

WOW, thanks for the reply Ludex, let me put it this way. I am generally against Season Passes and I've literally never purchased one but I am considering buying it for this game. You guys have a good thing here and with a little TLC this game could really reinvent the open world formula.

I was checking out pictures in Steam of the Season Pass; there's a picture of Nomad wielding a knife and about to park it in an Unidad Soldier's stomach. I think it's safe to believe knives are coming.

WOW nice find.. yea something like that. Personally I am a fan of knife takedowns. I don't know, something other then what we have now. Its so cringey watching it. Something I just noticed about that pic, he is holding his blade upward, like he is going to gut the guy ... HEH
