    I agree with most Recklessyire suggestions, they could make Orochi much more fun to play and viable even on tournament lvl of play. However with few minor changes I would add.

    - Hyper armor on storm rush for trading hits and gaining momentum in fight
    / For sure, but I would add hyper armor only on last part, eg. part when you are not able to cancel it anymore / It would become perfect whiff punisher and you wouldnt get hit out of it as it sometimes happen now/

    - Add feint on riptide strike to use the backstep for spacing the opponent and if a successful; a punish on the opponent
    / Perfect solution in my opinion

    - Buff to light deflect damage to make more useful since parrying is easier and offers more damage
    /Yes no reason to use deflect over normal parry, PKs second light attack are even trading with light riposite lulz/

    - Faster side lights by 100ms
    / Really must have, it would give orochi more combo mix potential. Right now feinting side attacks against experienced opponent is like throwing stamina away, because they know you will cancel it to top light most likely, or zone if you feel like throwing all stamina away which is pretty risky against some characters. Throwing out random side lights now will get you parry and kill
    I wouldnt mind sacrafice little bit dmg of double top light combo for it either.

    It saddens me to say that Orochi will probably drop from mid tier to low tier, when they fix flicker mechanic of zone attack if he doesnt get any rework.
    Dont get me wrong I hate false indicator of attack , but that doesnt change a fact that most of the time you opening up experienced opponent by unintended mechanic.

    Lmao my god, I changed my GT to fix it to display Recklessfire and the forums still have me as yire I CAN'T ESCAPE MY PAST FROM 10 YEARS AGO WITH THE TYPO I'VE LIVED WITH FOR SO LONG GAAHHHHH..Sigh....now onto reading your post.

    Ah! Yes, I actually like the hyper armor on the last part of storm rush better and think it is much more realistic. Great idea.

    Storm rush could never have hyper armor. If it hits it guarantees too much damage.

    How many ppl you actually see, purposely attacking into storm rush? Answer is slight to none. Most of the time is accidents.. It still happens tho and its annoying, because you dont commit to let storm rush fly much, and when you do, I feel like it shouldnt be interrupted by person whiffing attacks into air. . Thats why I wrote "last part only".. The part where you are already commited to do it.

    I agree it would render it broke - If you would have hyper armor after one step startup of storm rush because ppl would start using it for trade hits and they would win the trade - as you said because its doing alot dmg.

    But this change would really not change much. and maybe add some nice viable control for 2v2+ brawls

    I created this thread and a ubisoft employee responded and said to put thoughts on how to better Orochi here or just instant message him...so I'm very happy with that....so here are a few of the changes I think would help us...

    We need a way to open up turtles....if you guys would give us a couple that would be great....if was liking the hyper armor would be good...but I would rather take being able to react due to light attacks spam from everyone and having time to block after the first hit instead of being "juggled" with not enough time to react due to being staggered.

    I just came up with a fantastic idea outside the box. overhaul storm rush to do 2 things. Keep as is if storm rush goes as intended and hits opponent > then top light combo
    One issue with it is that it's hardly a good counter-attacking ability as it will often get beat out by some whiffed attacks. To fix this - Auto-parry while in the rush > then guardbreak > top heavy. This should result in nearly the same damage output and give it a decent ability to counterattack.

    Damn good idea...but I say let it automatically deflect instead of parry...and allow us to cancel at anytime....that way we will have a way to open up a turtle....but if it's blocked open us up for punishment....
