It's March 31st, 7:40PM (PST) and the server is unreachable at this time, which means I can't play the game at all.

During situations like this, which happens a little too often for my liking, it'd be nice to be able to play some portion of the game. I could be playing the campaign on realistic, or I could go into Free mode to practice on old or new characters, but since a connection to the Ubisoft servers is required in order to play the game, it becomes a waste of space on my hard drive when the servers are down.

Could this be fixed through a patch?
