Drone needs to be easier to detect | Forums

I did a search and came across GR purist's threads and I'm not going to nitpick as hard as they are.

I just think the drone is too mindless. You pop it up in the middle of daylight in a wide open blue sky and none of the SB goons look up and see it? I mean really? Shouldn't there be some tactical thinking behind using the drone? You practically have to fly this thing into enemies for them to see it.

Keep it the way it is on the easier difficulties. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty please make it easier for the enemy to spot a drone. I mean were already dealing with dead bodies that vanish in right in front of your eyes.

I used to fly drones in Iraq... we had pretty good ones. Tangos could look right into the camera, not realizing there was a drone watching them... and i am talking a distance of 10m... not 100m
Since our troops are supposed to be an elite unit (which we were not in Iraq), I would expect them to have at least the same drones we had... if not better
AND... this is a video game and not a simulator

Well, I don't know if it's the same one he's talking about, but there's this one.



One would be hard-pressed to spot it at 30 feet away even knowing it's there.

Not only he wants it, alot of people wants to have a free choice instead of dumbing down a game and enforcing a safety mechanics over my personal choice.

lets not waste devs time making these little requests

Yeah, let them add new shiny cars and outfits in the UBISHOP instead of that because you can hardly see them doing anything else.

How about when you're on the side of the chopper and you want to emp a convoy. Of course they're spotting you, and it's expected, why get kicked out then?
