    we have a situation with underground and survival

    i play on xbox one, yesterday around 5pm my time i went to cue for survival and not kidding 30 minute cue for pve. no ones playing it anymore and i suspect why.

    right now you only get a max of 36 items from survival that counting 6 survival caches and masters. each match playing in a group takes about an 1 hour and 20 minutes give or take some/ keep in mind not everyone will get 6 survival caches so were talking 20 items for an 1 hour and 20 minute game. while last stand yields like 40+ items and hour for even bad players that aren't even great at it just ok. this is unbelievable why wont you guys make survival and underground loot worthy for playing??

    what even sader is that the underground dlc yields more loot per hour than survival and survivals by far harder.

    please increase the loot gain from survival but the increase needs to not effect player experiences. so like dont make the extract bag have a bigger size instead increase the bonuses for reaching rank 1 2 3 4 5 or even add a new one 6 7 8 example grand master 4 survivals 3 gear 3 weapon caches or champion 5 survival 4 weapon 4 gear 2 mod caches. when i am playing for almost 90 minutes per match i want to be poored on by loot. we shouldn't have to play last stand just to get mad loot

    I think, if you go into queue, and after 15 minutes the 24 people are not found, the thing should just start. Its not like it is efficient loot farming, but I like survival from time to time. I would really be sad to see the best gamemode settle dust.

    I don't think the players left, really play for loot anymore they just do what they enjoy. Thing is I need an hour to spare to play survival where as I can get a couple of games of last stand in if I've only got half an hour. Imo survival is too time consuming. Don't get me wrong I loved it at 1St but being locked in a session for an hour or so can be a bit too much.

    They need to add PC on the weapon cache, gear cache and mods cache cause right now they are useless.
    Only survival cache will give you PC.

    Would be nice if the survival cache will spawn in your face when you kill the named boss.

    Yesterday i got robed by one in zone 3 top right side landmark where one guy just was waiting inside the house till i kill the yellow armor guys and named boss then run in and took my survival cache.
    And i care about it only cause from there i can get PC but i get the kill points that are more important.

    The guy who stole my cache had bad karma thanks for that in the end. He was extracting in the crossroads and i went there kill one hunter and then i waited it to kill that guy.
    He even crawled to me in hope i revive him. When he was so dead he could not move i killed the hunter no problem and went on the copter.
    I had 3 med kits in my bag but didnt revive him just because he stole my survival cache and he deserved that death.

    I play for weekly cache cause it's the most enjoyable game mode and it's simple to get 20K points.
    It's play 30 minutes in LZ get purple gear and AK-74 and in DZ craft custom m44 and some yellow gear that give you the most armor. I leave cloves and mask for last. First will be always holster.

    Some days i have weekly done in 2 runs and in maximum 3 hours if to count in the queue time that usually is as long as i get to farm fabric close to BOO and then teleport to left of boo mission to run down on map for the two named boss that are close by. Sometimes i get to kill the first one sometimes dont et that far even. And sometimes i even get the second done and move to napalm and when boss left to kill i am in the game.

    It's gear up in LZ can even be as long as you have 30 minutes timer and move to DZ pick op some useless caches take filter and extract and with in 1 hour game time you already get 10K points.

    On the last PTS it pretty much did this (not sure if intended) and you would literally be on the map with only 2 other people. I knew something was different each game I played when you would get the notice about someone leaving and it said 2 agents remain etc. and that was in the first 10-15 mins of the game. Loved it tbh

    I'd actually download and play survival if they removed the dumb timer and made it an ongoing instance with randomized loot/meds/food/drink spawns.

    just one big LZ/DZ survival mode to enjoy .

    I love karma, had a similar situation to yours but it was in the LZ of survival where a guy swooped in and grabbed the purple item that dropped off a heavy yellow I took down. I knew he was in the area but he was just quicker swooping in, even gave a smarta*s emote 'help'. I didn't react but within 1-2 mins he went down further along the street and crawled towards me after I downed the guy's that dropped him.......Let's just say I recovered said purple item and a few 'other' things

    I'm never normally like that but he (or she) had it coming......

    The trouble is Survival is not fun. This is a shooter, yet survival is, well it's boring, not only that it's really difficult like the DZ.
    You have to put in some serious hours and have a photographic memory to get any good at it. I absolutely hate it, more than the DZ and I hate that because it's full of buds you can't kill and you just get slaughtered.
    On the other hand I love Underground and Last Stand...And the game...
    And if I can be bothered I might grind some more to get the achievements in Survival but I doubt it, the longest I've lasted is 20 odd mins and it was tedious.
    There's no real walkthrough for it just tips like the DZ.

    Aside from players just not having the time to play long play sessions such as survival takes, I think one of the downfalls of this game is something I never thought I'd say in a loot based game...

    We Get too much loot!!!

    To explain further, the number one reason I don't play anything except incursions is because I literally have all the loot I ever need in the game. Why play UG or Survival when neither gives me any loot I need and they are the least challenging game modes in the game?

    In my opinion, there is only 5 reasons to play a game or game mode in a game.

    1. For the loot (eventually you reach a point where this is no loner a driving force to play).
    2. For the challenge or difficulty of the game/mission (this is one that should always remain true for the lifespan of a game, but most games fail to keep up with this).
    3. For the competition with other players (unfortunately PVP in this game still isn't PVP that has shaped the history of gaming).
    4. For a good story (such as EA/Bioware games have...I'm enjoying Mass Effect Andromeda right now even if it's not fully polished, there are few games with any kind of story content that puts in as much as ME:A or even SWTOR does).
    5. Because you have nothing else to do at the time.

    Somewhere in one of those you can toss in "because it's fun" and I only say that because what's fun or not is a subjective thing. But when....


    • You have all the loot where 99.9% of every loot drop simply can't get any better than what you have already...
    • When 95% of the game has no challenge in it because everything is too predictable or plays out the exact same every single time...
    • When PVP is the least competitive I've ever seen in a game
    • When the story simply just stops and leaves players hanging for so long
    • When every other game out there is more fun to play or when real life becomes more interesting than a game
    • When there is talk about a TD2 months before the first anniversary of TD1


    That tells me TD is dying a slow death and so don't get your hopes up that queue times will ever improve regardless of how good they make the loot. It'll only get worse. You can't have a game that relies on Co-Op play, not having enough players interested in queuing up. Even in a loot based game, you can't have loot being the sole reason to queue up for a game mode or mission. Even in MMORPG's there is reason to do raids and stuff other than seeking that rare loot drop from the boss. But not in TD, the only reason to ever play anything in this game so far is LOOT. Well LOOT will be (if it already isn't) the downfall of this game. It's the only thing that drives this game right now and so too little loot and people aren't happy...too much loot and people get everything fast and get bored.

    Also players aren't interested not only because of the loot but because UG and Survival are game modes that don't actually add to the immersion of the overall game. They just feel like little side missions like some MMORPG's have in which they are completely optional to play....and if you play, then oh! hey! you get some loot for playing. But true progress is never made in this game because even in the gameplay, it seems to be only about the actually gun fights with NPC's and nothing to do with the small pox disease mutating and spreading.

    The bottom line is game companies are putting too much money in the cosmetics and realism of a game and not enough time into the content and quality of a game. Players don't stick around and play a game because it looks good. The number one thing of importance for any game first is whether or not it's addicting to play (aka fun) because if it's not addicting, nobody is gonna be around to queue up for game modes like UG or Survival.
