For sure. That's something we'll want to cover on our weekly streams. We're rescheduling the one we missed this week for tomorrow 3/31 at 1PM ET. We'll cover some concerns you all have had around the community and also take some questions. I'll send this over to the host as a question and in case you aren't able to catch it, i'll post all the details following the stream as well.Originally Posted by RLTygurr Go to original post
Reading this at work is getting me hyped and now I can't wait to get home and log in to check the new outfit and get all that steel gains. Ubisoft, one thing I must admit is that you have a very passionate community. I am personnaly hungering for the blue posts on this forum and the sub-reddit. Reading this makes me feel empowered as a gamer seeing that you guys are actively making the game better. The ameliorations may not be as quick as some people would like to and its normal. Changes take time, every change must be part of a long process of studying the consequences and such. I just want to say a warm thank you. I love the game and wish you the best in what's to come. Can't wait for the stream.
Gentlemans.
For starters I'll say that you have created an outstanding game. It's really fun to play. But please, do fix that crash after round end that have been introduced with patch 1.03. There is a whole huge thread on community support. Lot of people (me included) get's a champion status but we really can't do much with this...

I think this is a solid start to Ubi potentially righting this ship.
I'm not that concerned with the steel gains honestly. What I'd like info on more than even steel gains is the cost the new heroes will be. Right now I'm sitting on close to 35k steel in anticipation of unlocking a new hero or two. If I knew in advance what they cost I'd be more willing to spend steel on other things now so I'm not having to do a ton of grinding when they are released. Perhaps even willing to actually buy packs or even the DLC I'd I can judge the relative merits of how to spend steel/dollars.
And that's with the understanding that unlocking the DLC heroes will likely be expensive in steel. That's part of the For Honor model, which I think is good in concept. Certainly better than DICE/EA splitting their player base by charging for new maps.
And I get that the devs want and need to make money too. I want the creators of this great game to make a good living while doing it.
In short, communicate with us. Let us know your plans so we can then plan our budgets accordingly.
And as a warning to pass along up the chain to any money-grubbing suits who may want to short-change us in some other facet to counter the steel gains: Absolver beta sign ups are available.
To look forward, I hope we see some more urgency from the devs on balancing issues. It's understandable to want to take your time to get it right. But some classes need some toning down sooner rather than later. Their easy ability to dominate creates an extremely unsatisfying experience in just facing them. They undermine the core brilliance of the game design.
