Just my two cent's, Cheers
even without customization the whisper, stampede, wilderness and .357 joker are great weapons as is. Also yes i can confirm the sound from firing the whisper is still "loud" but enemies dont hear it. I kinda prefer it that way though but perhaps with it turned down a bit since suppressors just damp the noise down to hearing safe levels rather than silence the shot entirely. Hollywood has lied to you about suppressors for a loooong time. quietest weapon i know (not from experience unfortunately) of is a WWII weapon called the De Lisle carbine.Originally Posted by Rufus37 Go to original post

The Whisper definitely needs to be tuned down at the very least and I am well aware a suppressor does not make the gun completely silent. One of the best features of this game is the fact that each firearm has it's own sound suppression rating. One of the missed opportunities of this though is the fact that there is only one default suppressor. I think they could have and should have given options to multiple suppressor types. Silencerco's specwar or the equivalent could offer better sound reduction, but hinder handling when compared to say a Surefire Mini which would give less sound reduction, but offer up better handling in comparison. They could have even thrown in a Silencerco Saker or Omega with end cap options to give further customization as well.Originally Posted by timmeh95 Go to original post
and then you run into copyright and such. The supressor in the game already is pretty bland and unrecognizable to most people, but i'm sure an omega with end cap customization would stick out and get them in trouble. I would like that stuff, but i can understand skipping out on going into things like that for legality issues. It would be cool though if games like this and others could get the manufacturers and others involved as sponsors or whatever so they could use their product and put the actual name on it instead of using an uncopyrighted version or whatever. I guess that will have to be in a DLC or for the next GR game.Originally Posted by Rufus37 Go to original post
Well they have modeled the Salvo and Osprey into the game, but who knows. Either way, I've seen quite a bit of good feedback in the forums here, I just hope Ubisoft listens and is able to implement some of it. Either way, this has been a very enjoyable game and one of my favorites.
And as far as the suggestions in Customization go
All Ghost Pack Items need to be fully customizable and separable from the pack it came in. Would really like to use the helmet from the futuresoldier pack in my own creation with my own choice in camo patter applied and the LVOA-C and any other weapon that could have attachments added should be available to do so in gunsmith
A-TACS iX pattern needs to be available for clothing/gear. It is already a gun camo option, why not the rest?
More options for the M4A1, at the very least a stock option
Higher Ammo Capacity for the Semi Auto Snipers, 68 rounds is ludicrous, seeing as all but the SVD are the same caliber as the MK 17 which can hold over 200 rounds.
Option to put Sniper scopes on Assault rifle class weapons and red dots and other CQB sights on the Semi Auto Snipers. This would help address the lack of Designated Marksmen Rifles. For game balance you could set it up so that a Sniper Scope attached to an Assault Rifle negates the option to put a grenade launcher on at the same time.
The only problem I really see in regards to different suppressors, is that if you remove one and then decide to put it back on via the ADS option, how will the game know which suppressor to back on? I'm all for more sound suppression, but it doesn't seem like the game was ever intended to have more than one suppressor type. I suppose they could edit the ADS option to allow a small menu to appear above the word "suppressor" and then allow you to select which one to put on.
The Whisper actually Exists in the real world. It's a SilencerCo Maxim-9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2Fbaz3T7RcOriginally Posted by timmeh95 Go to original post
