Why the networking is the single most important issue right now

Connection error. You have been disconnected from the match. Return to main menu.

About 80% of dominion games, 60% of elimination games, and 40% of all brawls and duels that I play in end prematurely with this error message.

The game is utterly unplayable in its current state. I will check back on this game in a couple months - hopefully by then you will have had time to properly fix the networking.

Let this be a lesson to you. More time in beta is a GOOD thing, because it allows you to figure out glaring issues like these before you release to the public. This game is a 9/10 in terms of its core gameplay but the awful networking drops it to a 3/10. I have told many of my friends about it and my message is always the same: "Potentially great game ruined by terrible networking. Don't buy it until they fix it." If you had kept the game in beta for another couple months and fixed the networking I would be going out of my way to recommend the game to friends. Your 49% positive rating on Steam would probably be in the high 80s, and you would be rolling in the cash at this point.

Don't get me wrong, I understand how frustrating it must be for the devs to put in all this hard work and have it undermined by a seemingly peripheral issue. But this is not peripheral, it is the single most important aspect of an online matchmade game. Just something to think about.

Finally, please don't delete this post simply because it raises a controversial issue. Censoring the community is not the best way to handle issues; rather, fostering open discussion and feedback will allow you to focus your efforts where they are most needed.

Lack of communication. With the end of the first season in sight, it is way over due for some real answers to WTH is going on and what you guys as a dev team / ubi are gonna do . we want some follow through and real communication. The networking solutions in place are failing still daily, costing the players precious time / exp gain lost /steel etc. IMO The networking solutions should have been addressed like yesterday/ last week/ before release / Never should have been the networking solution (P2P2P) for a fighting game that is dependent on players every twitchy input. Would be amazing to swing into the forums and see a real post with real communication from someone in the Dev team ( not the robot community representative ) addressing Networking Foundation changes (scrapping peer-to-peer solution and moving to server Farm solution ) addressing all issues present with in current game starting from the ground up and most important first
