the one thing that annoys me with long shots you have to get within at least 300 - 400 meters and use your drone to tag them then move further away to get the long shot!
im playing it on XB1 and at a certain distance the game doesn't spawn the cartel you just see an empty base
that said so far my longest shot is only 585 meters using the MSR Thermite
Just pulled a 737m last night - pretty sweet. Found a really good base to repeat for long distance zeroing. I believe they are 100M increments although I find after 600m it seems to be more sensitive to distance. I believe my fist line starts at 300m as my rifle is zeroed to about 250m accurately. Using the 6x scope anyways.
I use the MSR and L11. We have one with the drone marking, another spot, another will get close enough to force a respawn and come back.. Do this till we get bored or we acheive our goal. Dont do it often to keep from xp hording, and ruin the fun.. But great for zero a scope to know were the lines are.. 6x is good scope for long range. Just havent figure out the line graph.Originally Posted by BorgX666 Go to original post
I'm no expert on the janky shooting mechanics in this game, but I do know for a fact it isn't in 100m increments. I found that out shooting at a sniper at 400m and found I was shooting way high.Originally Posted by W1nEmAll Go to original post
I use the G28 with the 6X - I found to the top of the fist line is zeroed to about 290mOriginally Posted by mac9yv3r Go to original post
First line I use for 300m to first long line 400m then 500m
I find a little more zeroing needed at about 600m to be more precise. I'm usually pretty accurate to about 550m - 585m
Hope this helps a little in getting your zeroing down with 6x

That to the next line I use for targets 300 to 400m
Then 400m to 500m - I am very precise from those distances....
Where I am working on continued zeroing is from 550 and upwards as it becomes way more sensitive and relative to distance. This is my experience with zeroing my G28 with 6x scope.
