In any game and IRL, an APC should be able to resist small arms fire up to .50BMG but I love the fact that low cal sniepr rifles, 5.56mm rifles and 9mm smgs can damage an APC. Its really a joke. You can also shoot out the tires even though real APCs have air free no leak tires that even if a bullet penetrated, wouldn't do anything

Totally agree, but can understand why, everyone would just drive a LAV around blow everything up and then get out of the vehicle collect rewards and drive off into the sunset.

Think it needs a slight buff in damage reduction so it clearly has better survivability than the other vehicle types but not to the point where you just face tank everything (so maybe 4 -5 times stronger than the avg vehicle, would be nice if you had a repair tool to repair damage as well.

GRW is a game so world and objects in it behave according to game rules rather than reality. Sure, I would love to see APC to be more durable but it can't be impervious to small arms fire otherwise you would have no contenders in GRW. How often you face heavy arms or explosives when dealing with cartel or Unidad?

Maybe because there is no actual anti-armour weaponry for both player and AI.

I expected the bad guys to at least have shoulder fired AT/AA weapons.

Personally, I would like a massive buff to the APC damage resistance, it should be practically impervious to small arms and grenades. To combat this, I would insert an RPG/shoulder launched projectile type. It would only require putting one more weapon into the game, and would make a lot of sense, adding a real reason to use APCs, and a real threat while using them.

The 40mm GL?? May not be a purpose built anti armor weapon but It gets the job done
