Faction War Questions -
OK - I realize the whole debate over Faction War is still making EVERYONE salty - but please explain this:
Timeline:
One minute till end of round 3:
Knights 17(-01); Samurai 29(-05); Vikings 14(+06)
End of Round 3:
Knights 16; Vikings 20; Samurai 24
Samurai win - all well and good
One minute AFTER End of Round Three - First Turn Round FOUR
Knights 18(-03); Samurai 21(+05); Vikings 21 (-02)
Territories in Play:
Dominion Eight territories total Vikings/Samurai
Four Defensive territories and Four Offensive Territories EACH
DeathMatch Six Territories in Play total Vikings/Knights
Three Defensive Territories and Three Offensive Territories EACH
Duel&Brawl Seven Territories in play Knights/Samurai
Four Knights Defensive territories - three Knights Offensive territories;
Three Samurai Defensive territories - Four Samurai Offensive territories
War Assets Deployed during Turn One Round Four:
Knights 31.4%; Vikings 35.2% ;Samurai 33.4%
And if you looked at the Initial Turn One/Round Four Territory Modifier you could plainly see that each of the Samurai war assets started at a 10% deficit. 60/40.
8:30PM Eastern Time - beginning of turn Two - Round Four
Knights 16(+06); Vikings 15 (+01); Samurai 29 (-07)
THUS I have to ask - in what Universe were the Samurai able to win EVERY disputed TERRITORY in Turn One/Round Four when they started at such a deficit and deployed LESS war assets ?
AND NOW
Disputed Territories are as Follows:
Seven between Vikings and Samurai -
Vikings Three Defensive/Four Offensive
Samurai Four Defensive/Three Offensive
Four between Knights and Vikings -
Two Offensive and Two Defensive each
Six between Knights and Samurai -
Three Offensive and Three Defensive each
AND TWO - Three way territory battles comprising ALL three factions.
What formulae were used to determine what and which territories come into play-because it varies greatly between each turn.
ie Samurai could potentially gain10 territories this turn - where as they were ONLY afforded the opportunity to gain eight territories last turn -
SO CONFUSED - SO SALTY
