You can't punish people for unfair matchmaking and broken mechanics. The examples given in this topic are just too common - I was leveling my LB the last week, and every other game was a team with no gear, maybe one person with 108 vs 3 people 108 and purple.
This is not just unfair, it's unplayable. I really don't care about your rep, but if you get revange in 2-3 hits and you can kill me in 3 hits without it anyway, what's the point? I will quit any game like this right at the start. If I get put into a couple of them in line, I just go play a different game. You want to punish me? This game is not good enought to keep playing while being punish for develepers incompetence and publishers greed.
Players are leaving this game super fast now, without punishment. With it? Boy, oh boy...
Bunch of necromancersOriginally Posted by EmeraldCthulhu Go to original post, but in all seriousness the only way to fix Matchmaking after reading the ubisoft reply would be to have you pick your character before you launch where it then matches you will like minded stats, the current setup is what leads to unbalanced matches, everyone has access to 12 characters just because you decide you want to level up your latest character doesnt mean the opposing team wont bring their rep 10 GS 108 into the match, thats why their is also the option to level up on AI til rep 3 than open crates til you get full heroics with the stats you like the most
I said it once ill say it twice and i even tell those guys in game who complain avout match making
Why are you coming in a gears mod without any at least blue gears and cry about the fact that the matchmaking is unbalanced ??????It is your bad your own mistake do and earn your class .Achieve easy orders get a champ status .train hard customize your hero and then consider going into gears mod matchs
This is a quote from a ubisoft staff it was in to my thread pretty much the exact same issue I have with rage quitting.
"A couple of things I'd like to address that will hopefully help with the conversation. While we do realize that things like matchmaking, connectivity, and overall match stability are major issues, these are things that we are working to fix on our end - but ultimately, they do not excuse rage-quitting.
Improving game stability is our biggest focus right now, but rage-quitters have a very large, very negative impact on the stability of a match for all the other players in that game - when a player abruptly drops out it leads to disconnects, crashing errors, and that re-synchonizing pause we're all familiar with (don't you just love it when that happens ;p).
Also, yes we can tell the difference between a disconnect and an Alt-F4.
And our answer to rage-quitters is currently being tested right now by the devs and hopefully it's ready for release soon.
So hopefully if the thought crosses your mind next time, you'll take a minute to think about it and instead choose to finish out the next 15 minutes or so - you might even end up seeing that victory screen. "
