Dear Ubisoft:
It took me over TWO hours to complete your daily order to play(finish) TWO Player versus Player Dominion matches on PS4.
I literally played 7 games to within SECONDS of completion and then the last surviving enemy player rage quits and the dreaded error back to Main Menu hits again.
I am DONE with the horrible unbalanced gear score matchmaking and excessive rage quitting.
Please tweet whenever an actual FUNCTIONING patch is put into production - not just another vague - "we're aware there is a problem and we're working on solutions".
I'm trying REALLY hard to give your Dev team the benefit of the doubt - but your progress thus far in solving BASIC design problems is underwhelming at best.
Penalizing "quitting" solves nothing as more than half the players will disconnect or desynch for one reason or another.
Also penalizing "quitters" has done nothing for games that want to keep their playerbase. Ask Halo-5 who have lost plenty of people for having an overly harsh ban system that punishes more disconnects than it does true quitters.
Accept the fact that this is a GAME and no one should feel obligated to play with you and be your punching bag should you play like a ******bag.
As for the gear-stats, if you don't have any gear of your own, perhaps that is your PROBLEM as to why you're not enjoying yourself. The end game is rooted in the maxed out gear and you won't receive the best performance from your character until you do max out the gear.
I play a Prestige Six Gear Score 108 PeaceKeeper - I'm not enjoying myself because when Ubisoft matchmakes a PvP Dominion lobby - MORE often than not they unbalance the gear scores and prestige levels between the two teams - thus One team dominates the other and the losing team ends up rage quitting which in turn initiates the cascade leading to the Error disconnection - which means that I get NONE of the benefits from having played 99% of the game -Originally Posted by Rhodri331 Go to original post
Part of that problem is that you're not actually going up against noobs, but against players who have Rep'ed their character's up to about an equal level to you. It's an overall reputation score, not on a per-character system.Originally Posted by UCFierce Go to original post
I have a Rep-10 PK, but if I wanted to go in as a fresh Warden, I'd still be matched based on my Rep-10 PK.
We have a fix for rage-quitting that's currently being tested in dev and will be shipped out once it's ready. As for the other thing.
I think the matchmaking problem was talked about briefly in our live stream. You're actually matched with other players before you pick your heroes which is why it can create an opportunity for an unbalanced game. We're definitely aware that it's a problem and we're looking for ways to fix it so matches are more fair and balanced.

Took a week off from the game. Logged in, played a few duels against the AI to knock the rust off. No lag, everything running perfectly.
Next order was for a skirmish. Everything running well, team starts to dominate. Before the victory an opponent rage quits and we all drop to main menu. Match never happened.
Here is an idea. If you are disconnected, charge the player with the stats earned for the partial game. Then get some servers to handle the matches or figure out a way to handle the disconnects gracefully. If that can't be achieved - instead of going back to main menu - end the match on the stats achieved.
