Hi, the game really needs this option. I want to be able to customize each guy from the team, it would be very cool to dress them as Ghost for example, and get to choose weapons and all that stuff. I really hope that Ubisoft makes this happen soon

Yes, it would be awesome to make my character and the AI dress alike like quadruplets, or have the Dr Seuss "Thing" t-shirts available, and we can go in as "Thing 1" through 4...

There is a huge, multipage thread on this forum discussing the exact same thing. Rest assure, the devs are totally aware of this fan request.
