Direction of future Store Items. For UBI. Immersion sells.

So let me just start off with saying that I am appalled by the items that are currently for sale in the GRW Store. Please read further.

We by now know that GRW caters two types of gamers (and thus, Ubi, your future customers) - the casual players who want to have fun and will most likely pass and move onto something else soon and the hardcore players - the military gamers on consoles, the Extreme Difficulty bunch, the milsim & tactical players, who can't move away from GRW anytime soon since there is no other open world semi-tactical military games on consoles.

The items currently for sale in the Store have no connection with what Wildlands represents, national flag patches and face camos - okay, I understand this is a quick buck and many jumped and bought this. But please, evolve your plan for future Store content and think beyond simple skin retextures. It looks like whoever is in charge of producing content for the Store, they are completely detached from what Wildlands universe was representing - a military, semi-serious game, the legacy of original Ghost Recon series and Future Soldier and you built your customer base in last 2-4 years on that.

Sure, keep rolling in the cash grab stuff, national flag pants, WW2 era helmets that have no connection with the game other than that they are "Fun". But do not overlook the large community that sees in Wildlands a semi-hardcore, military game and we awaited years for it to come out. And believe me, we do have the money ready to be spent. Just start creating new items & content for the store. You have had real operators advising you on equipment, tactics, weapons and right now, you have an amazing community that daily suggests great improvements and amazing wishlists. Although I feel naive for having to ask you to create content that we'll drop cash on it, it's the truth.

Try doing some of the things below and see the sales skyrocket. Immersion also sells, not just fun.

    NVG's
We know this was requested a million times already and not sure what your intentions are, but looking at the pace of patches and upcoming fun-inspired DLC (Narco Road), I already accepted the truth that you will never implement this in the game as it should be. Then at least add them as a cosmetic/semi functional (lowered&raised) item to the Store. If conflicts with various head gear are happening, then make it so they are only applied to the helmets already in the game as they already have a NVG mount plate. It's not a perfect delivery but at least we'll have them.
If branding is a problem, just create a copy of real ones, such as GPNVG-18.More new Plate Carriers and VestsAdd new vest, plate and LBE models, not just reskins of current ones. It's imperative that each item can be selected on it's own in customisation, not like GRFS pack that can't be individualy selected by pieces. think also backpacks and don't forget about adding small details on them, such as IR strobes, chemlights, laptops, rappeling hooks.
Again, we don't need LBT branded JPC's, lookalikes will do.
    Because immersion.

    New thematic Vehicles
Really sorry, but the Army pack is a poor attempt at selling simply reskined vehicles. Slap some woodland camo over, no details added.
I'd be happy to see existing SUV's, such as the one that you can spawn with rebel support, but outfitted with some operator gear, such as backpacks on the side, jerry cans and spare tires, something that real operators would use as their vehicle. And the Unidad offroad buggies - they are a perfect base for creating custom outfitted operator vehicles. For 4 years, all trailers sold us we'll be able to use them, but now we can't even spawn them and use them only when we stumble upon them?
    Again, immersion.

    Suppressors
A huge let down right now for me and many of us in the milsim community is the fact that there is just one .45 Osprey silencer that applies to all handguns, even though 5.7 and any 9mm calibre doesn't work with it. Add new silencers of/for various calibres, even assault rifles, add a pack to the Store and bam, instant income. AAC, Bowers silencer look-alikes (again because branding & copyrights), you already created a very good base with the Gusmith and why not further improve on our options.

I'll expand the list but the community already provided so many suggestions elsewhere, in other topics. I just wanted to emphasise on what and who the current Store selection caters to and that there is a community overlooked. Your current direction is "fun items for a videogame" but I say try also "immersive items for military players" and see that money rolling in. I feel really bad to say this, but hell, my wallet is waiting. And this comes from a guy who spent 5$ on attachment pack only to get a GL1 grenade launcher for Mk17 only because the model was there, albeit I already had all other items unlocked, only to find out it did not unlock as it's bugged.

Night vision in GR is displayed from the crosscom not from some NVG's it will be more "immersion" breaking if ghosts use something that they never use...

This game takes place between GRAW 2 and GRFS so yes the NV is only on crosscom.

There's no Crosscom in the game. Have you even looked through the eyewear part of charactersmith? Just regular glasses and goggles, no Crosscom.

I strongly agree with the OP but I also wonder if people who prefer more realistic features are a minority. Personally I really do not like pink weapon skins and I would not use the exotic weapons even if their stats were superior in all their extravagance. A M9 engraved with gold details for me associates with corrupt high ranking officers in Saddams army or some gangster and have nothing to do with quiet operators (the M9 is not even the worst example). However why would these things be implemented if people do not want to buy it? The same goes for the Narco Roads DLC. Extravagant colorful gangster stuff, maybe that is what the kids want?

I never said there was lol , but like @kamikaze703 said they need to add them, for me didn't make sense that Ghost's don't use them here, this takes place after GRAW 2 and Ghost's used crosscom on that game

We have markers over the enemies and that makes sense if we have a crosscom.

So i hope they add them either as a free think or something in the store the only way around at the moment is using the Kozak outfit from GRFS

For me all the goofy 'fun' stuff doesn't interest me ...

I'm up for more HARDCORE military features, items, clothing

    1) Knife kills/takedown
    2) stealth buffs for ghillie suits
    3) HARDCORE MODE with no ammo pick ups (only at Rebel base or pick up enemy weapons), carry weight limit
    4) more military gear (smoke grenades) and clothing options
    5) more military weapons
    6) ability to toggle WEAPONS FREE for AI squad.

I agree with everything Lamoi wrote.
In addition, I would like the option to remove one of my weapons, I'd like to operate with 1 primary and a sidearm, as it is ridiculous to me that we can carry a LMG and a .50 cal sniper rifle at the same time.
These are different roles in a team, we should be able to rely on our AI backup to fill the gaps in our own gear.

As long as they add some helmets with NVGs on them, I don't give a damn if they add Crosscom glasses or not.
