First of all, Shame. Dishonor on you, dishonor on your Llama, dishonor on your Cartel!
The fact that one of the most widely requested cosmetic items (nation flag patches) is locked behind a paywall is frankly unacceptable. I can live with quite a lot of content being locked behind that but not even having the option to just buy a single patch is just ridiculous. Now, I freely admit I purchased this pack for a number of reasons with my nation flag just being one of them but I still think this is something that should have been included in the base game.
And do not get me started on the M90K. If I want that, I have to buy an entire set of WW2 inspired items (why?), it cannot be used on clothing (why?) and not to mention the entire pack is 1500 Credits, roughly 10€ and for that I cannot add my own customization to the Bren - something that would actually increase the value in my opinion; adding modern stuff to classic guns is always fun. Sadly, only the patterns are correct for the M90K - the colours seem more like Multicam then anything actually used on a Swedish Uniform.
Now that we got the Trumpesque SAD! rant out of the way:
We all know where you are heading with this. National Camo Options are a logical next step and if that is the way we are going, I applaud you. I suppose I cannot stop you from charging for them either. So at least make the M90 right this time around. Same goes for the other national camos. Hell, if you add them to a pack I might buy it. And I may not because the pack may be severely overpriced. I would rate such a camo pack at max 800 credits but if you are smart, you will allow us to unlock the camos one by one for a lower price. Some people are not me. They do not wish to change the outfit of their character between every third mission.
Oh, and I know this have been mentioned but stuff from "costumes"; let us mix that with all the other stuff. It would be pretty damn awesome. Also - for all this to really be worth it, add AI Customization too. Oh, come on - you think I would write this and not even mention it once? Consider it mentioned.
I hear you. It would be nice if my national flag wasn't essentially an afterthought on a manufacturer logo. Maybe some thinly veiled commentary from the developers there.
I don't want to derail your request, but if I could add to it; I'd really love to see camouflage have actual bearing on gameplay. With all environments being represented, I see it as a massive missed opportunity to not pair camo patterns with geographical climates. It would be simply a matter of making certain camo more/less effective based on your region. Ghillie suits not withstanding, obviously.
To your point about premium patterns, it seems to me that this would make purchasing new camo far more feasible. People who still prefer form over function can continue to use whatever they think looks cool, while the rest of us who actually take the time to configure our outfit presets by climate/operation will actually be rewarded for our effort and engagement with the game.
