So we fight a warlord today in elimination. It took three to four of us to bring him down each time, because he revenged like four or five times per round. Each time, nearly a full bar of defense and no sooner was it gone that he revenged again. We won, but the mechanic is broken.
Why not go with the easiest fix. Limit revenge per life to one (or two if really necessary) charges until the next respawn. Revenge speed will still be attainable and matter so you could get it reliably but at least that would stop the worst offenders who just revenge her and over again.
I like revenge, it's a cool mechanic, but it's badly overplayed and it gets freaking insane at 108 score gear. I don't mind it being strong, but don't make it constant. At least let us kill the person before they can abuse it again.

while i do think the revenge system needs to be reworked some, i dont think it is as over powered as people make it out to be. the thing people dont seem to understand is more people beating away on someone will not kill them quicker, it will only fuel non-stop revenges. if you are down to a 4v1, at most only have 2 people attacking them...usually you can just have one player fighting them while the 3 wait and watch, and if the player fighting them dies or is close to dying, tag out and let someone else 1v1 them...done fuel the fire, starve it out
