I'm a big Far Cry fan, and started playing in 2008 when Far Cry 2 dropped. The story was amazing, but what I enjoyed the most was the multiplayer. I put in countless hours into the online multiplayer and I absolutely loved it. However, I got a little disappointed when Far Cry 3 dropped, and the multiplayer wasn't the same as the previous one. And to my surprise the Far Cry 4 multiplayer was even worse, and I thought this was going in the completely wrong direction. So I played the stories in Far Cry 3 and 4, but continued to play the Far Cry 2 multiplayer. Unfortunately, Far Cry 2 multiplayer has pretty much died out, and you're lucky to find even 5 people playing at once.
It's now 2,5 years since Far Cry 4 came out, so I'm expecting Far Cry 5 is either gonna come late this year, or anytime next year, so I want to let you all on Ubisoft know that I would be forever grateful if you put in a multiplayer much like the one in Far Cry 2.
Just to clarify what I mean with the Far Cry 2 multiplayer;
Two teams, two bases, one on each side of the map, and vehicles you can drive. And also the gamemodes 'capture the diamond' and 'uprising' is something I would want more than anything.
Ubi, please?![]()
I'm starting to have doubt about another Far Cry game being in development. But apparently GameStop had somewhat of a leak on the next game, they had a listing for a Far Cry 5 for a November 2017 release date. Could be fake, i'm not sure. Then again, Far Cry 4 had a low profile before it was announced.
How did this thread from 3 months ago even make it's way into this forum? haha... I was wondering why they were talking about the game possibly releasing this year because the release date is known at this point... I'm looking forward to finding out what form the MP takes mainly to see what the reaction will be like from those who are more interested in it. Just the fact that the player count seems to be too low for some has got me laughing...
Let's hope Far Cry 5 will change all that!Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post![]()
I dunno man, I feel like that train of though is exclusive to the people who are really into the editor. I think there are alot of people who aren't into it, and it's just as likely that that group is the majority, one could even argue it is more likely, hence the diminished focus on it. It's always harder to see the big picture when you're focused on a particular part of it....Originally Posted by LGz JETHRO66 Go to original post
