That's not a bad idea, I'll add itOriginally Posted by Varakharne Go to original post
I wrote a short paragraph at the end to include that suggestion ^^Originally Posted by FilipinoFinesse Go to original post
It would also be pretty cool to see our ghost continue to upgrade their tactical skill sets. In my opinion there are three very basic add-ons that are an absolute necessity at some point to really apply a stealthy and tactical approach to game play. 1) Wire cutters, to be able to cut through parameter fences. As a special ops group, having to traverse the full length of an Unidad's base outer parameter in search for a soft point in order to enter is extremely counter productive, and not exactly realistic. 2) Rappelling from helicopters to vantage and entry points/Extracting from vantage and entry points (to include the water) by rope. 3) Use of a knife for stealth kills, for players who do not have a silenced weapon equipped-- and because it would be a alternative to using the side arm.
I don't know what you guys think about this, but I think punisher1342007 had a great idea, that would benefit all these random missions: what if we had an in-game mission editor, like in Arma 3, so that players could create custom made missions and share them on an online workshop?

Great idea but I doubt it could be implemented on a game like thisOriginally Posted by Flake-FR Go to original post![]()
All these ideas are great..... but push comes to shove what I really want is to get into big engagements with enemy personnel that make use of the wonderful terrain..whether it be the jungle, the snow, or the desert...
the main thing i ask is that they vary up how/where the engagements happen and the equipment the enemy brings to the fight..
Have the the Ghosts setup a patrol base out in the wild from which they conduct search and destroy and/or presence patrol missions...create engagements from there:
-have roaming patrols of enemies that you encounter either patrolling or that the player has to intercept because they are enroute to attacking an objective...
-have the patrol helicopters spot the ghosts and then send air assault troops in to attack, 3-5 helos show up... 2 lay suppressive fire while the rest drop off troops in "strategic" locations to trap the ghosts.
-give the enemies the ability to deploy smoke against the ghosts by artillery or thrown grenades.. (anything to increase the confusion)
-Convoy Ops, have the ghosts escort a vehicle convoy and break enemy illegal checkpoints along the way
Urban Combat..
-as in the black hawk down incident... have players spawn in a town and task them to navigate/fight through an urban environment littered with enemies and whose roads and alleys have been strategically blockaded...add stationary turrets or technicals for more fun
I have to say, these ideas are truly awesome, and has certainly got me to thinking. If you all would be so kind, please entertain this one for a moment. Thanks
Story Expansion:
El Sueno is dead, and the leadership that structured under him is broken. Where this should have been the end of the Santa Blanca Cartel, and thereby returning the country of Bolivia to a country of peace, it has instead been cast it into a civil war. With the head of the Katari rebels dead, Unidad in a coup d'etat, and every remaining SB Lt. fighting to make a name for themselves, the people are leaderless, without a means of income, and hungry! To add insult to injury, several of the other criminal organizations across that world that were virtually forced to play second tier to the SB Cartel have caught the scent of blood in the air, see the immense profitability of the coca fields, and are all moving towards Bolivia to partake in the feast.
Having enemy patrols would be awesome!Originally Posted by the5timechamp Go to original post
This sounds nice, and I'd love to see it in the game one-dayOriginally Posted by RahzArjuna777 Go to original post
It could involve a new set of random missions for the players, in a new context.
However, it may very difficult to implment :/ I don't know, maybe it's better if the devs manage to give us some replayability at low development cost, to keep the game going. As it is now, a lot of people are dropping after they've finished the main quests, as there isn't really much left to accomplish....
I was definitely looking at this as a possible continuation of the game, whether that was in the form of a year 2 theme, or a future DLC of some type, would both be satisfactory. The backdrop alone is perfect for this kind of grittiness, and the end of the game, in my opinion, is wide open to create some pretty interesting game play options that introduce an even deeper level of story line immersion. To your point however, I would be perfectly fine with something less grand to do in the meanwhile. Thank you all for reading through my ideas, and sharing your feedback. Fingers crossed!Originally Posted by Flake-FR Go to original post
