Add a Horde mode...
do it Red River style... you hold off as long as you can collecting XP the longer you survive, the caveat is you have to call for extraction to keep/win that XP....extraction is not automatic and you must hold the line as long as possible...every few waves you get to go plant mines and/or C4
CQC mode:
take some of the bigger towns and add doors to some buildings and have players kick in some doors to extract
POW escape mode..
8-12 players begin unarmed inside an Unidad complex and must escape to one of several "extraction" zones while avoiding several heavily armed Unidad patrols
Add a WHAT IF scenario...
What IF the Ghosts took up Sueno on his offer to join the Santa Blanca? make a mini campaign where Santa Blanca Ghosts defend cartel convoys, protect Cartel assets from rebel incursions and double cross Unidad..
Wow. What awesome ideas! This has sparked many supporting ideas in my mind...
A lot of those could do very well in expanding the life of the game, ESPECIALLY the region "control bolivia" idea. Imagine a mini region-management game within the regions that require maintaining control of certain outposts. For example controlling a certain percentage of posts in a particular region may add specific benefits to your ghost/team. Such as: reduced rebel support cooldowns (like reduced mortar cooldown for controlling a mil-base or outpost with mortars; things of that nature). This could also include events to defend an outpost or risk losing its control/ benefit. Region/outpost control percentages could correlate to enemy levels at unattainable outpost (consolidation of enemy forces to a MOB/FOB due to loss of territory).
But then, what would be the purpose of controlling a certain region have if there aren't many more bases to raid? Well... This is where some of your random events ideas could come to play. For example: if a region you control (giving you a benefit) is free of cartel violence/ unidad corruption, this could prompt a randomly timed HVT mission(s) (HVT(s) have come to the region to try to fight back, organize counter attacks [leading to more powerful retaliations/harder outpost defense missions])
This could perhaps add fluctuation in REBEL patrol/presence levels, giving more incentive to restore those levels of control for rebels. Basically this would be like a "mini-war" management system.
Heck, all this could also prompt the possibility of dyanamic, randomly generated mission threads. A randomly named HVT is somewhere in the region, prompting the need for intel gathering, and interrogation missions etc.
I really feel like these ideas combined into a whole system of endgame mechanics could actually do a lot for (the longevity of) this game!
Thank you! I'm keeping the thread up to date, hope you'll find the time to check the community's ideas!Originally Posted by UbiPhobos Go to original post
For the Horde mode, do you mean like a random Radio defense mission? You have to defend a civilian village or a rebel ammunition stock?Originally Posted by the5timechamp Go to original post
That's a nice concept! So you're saying we could have some random 'Bif gmission" which would then be comprised of many random "small" missions, is that rigth?Originally Posted by FilipinoFinesse Go to original post
If I follow your example, a random interrogation mission could be the starting point: you capture and interrogate a SB lieutenant, and he tells you some important drug lord is going to be in Bolivia the next day. you then have to find some documents in a SB-controlled oupost to know the exact location of this HVT, and finally you have to kill/capture him.
The initial intel could be gained by finding some important documents, or maybe by some rebel hostage you freed, or some civilian ou saved/protected.
The following missions could then range from HVT assassination to Cocaine Depot destruction, etc...
With a little imagination, it would be easy to create some mission-modules that can interlink to create bigger and more complex missions!![]()
OP..
I started a thread before with some mission ideas.
Here is the link.

Nice! Since so many of your ideas seemd to fit in with our suggestions, I tried to add them as examples, I hope you're ok with thatOriginally Posted by RHAIN07 Go to original post
This way the devs can have all our suggestions in one place![]()
I would like to see something similar to Dying Light where supplies were dropped in and whom ever got there first gets the goods. I would change it though and make it a random plane crash and a subtle alert to let you know that a plane went down in a general area and you have to find it before the enemy does.
Yes. Basically. Randomly generated mission threads. Just like the ones we got in the base game. Except at the end, instead of taking down a boss you would just take down a HVT. So a mission thread could include. Interrogation of a HVT, gathering of intel. Defending another HVT etc. until the Named NPC shows up and he must be captured or taken out, Leading to resource rewards.Originally Posted by Flake-FR Go to original post
