Ok. . . . so ya, the latest patch for the PC did Fubar a few things up. Example: I used to get 60 FPS no matter what (GTX 980, AMD FX-8350, 16 GB DDR3 RAM with VSync ON) and now I start off at around 30 for the first 15 minutes or so.
After that, it clears up. . . . . . however I have noticed a few other things that NEVER happened before this patch.
Mouse Movement (when im not moving the mouse):
Especially in vehicles. If im in a chopper, or a plane and NOT moving my mouse, it jerks from the left, to the right, to the left, and right again (very little). . . . . constantly. Does the same thing in the vehicles.
CRASHES!!!!!
I have been in 2 closed technical tests, and 2 open beta tests and this game has crashed ONE time over that entire period. Since this latest patch. . . . I crash 75 % of the time when doing side missions. . . . near the end. Mostly when its a plane or a helicopter mission. I honestly think its related to the Mouse Movement bugs im getting all of a sudden, because it seems to lock up while my screen is jerking from left to right or vice versa.
My main complaint:
Yes, I rushed the game. I was level 30 in 22 hours, and beat the game (with the second ending) in 28 hours. I am MAXED on EVERYTHING in the skill tree except for the flare gun (3 out of 4 bars). I played mostly single player with the AI and always went for stealth. I got to level 30 so fast because after I did a few single player missions and needed a break I would just join up with my task force and go do side missions to get skill points or do rebel ups STRICTLY for leveling up. After the first 3 days (i put in about 7-9 hours each night) I was only 24 skill points and about 20,000 gas, 10,000 medical, and 10,000 food supplies away from completely MAXING out the skills tree. After that I slowed down and just finished up my Binocular recon, Flare gun, and the Bleed out time tonight (in about 30 minutes).
There is NOTHING left for me to do. . . . . especially since I crash 75% of the time while doing side missions.
Don't get me wrong. . . . I absolutely LOVE this game. Ive been playing Ghost Recon since Island Thunder and have been waiting on this for 4 years. The open world environment mixed with the stealth tactics needed to infiltrate a huge base are a HUGE plus in my book. Im not complaining about the game. . . . im complaining about the END GAME. If PVP was already here, I probably would have only posted by crashes or bugs, however im playing more Rainbow Six: Siege all of a sudden because after 30 minutes in Ghost Recon Wildlands I get completely ****ing bored and want to put my fist threw my monitor because the ONLY thing I can benefit from keeps CRASHING.
Suggestions:
I know im only one of the few that rushed through this entire thing, however to keep it fresh I highly recommend pumping out content MUCH faster or in a more massive way. By now we should have PvP. If no one knew this game was beatable in 28 hours im pretty sure most would not have bought it. I have done every mission and only have about 8 kingslayer files left. I have almost all 8 statues and have done every "type" of side mission about 100 times. The missions are at the point to where they are repetitive and I could pretty much knock out any convoy in about 3 minutes easily. The only problem is I just get bored with it so grab the HTI and blow everything up because there is no longer a point in getting any supplies (maxed skill tree).
Give us MORE to do with the supplies and side missions.
Release more content (clothes, or guns) by allowing people to gain Uplay points or in game currency by having the supplies. Let me buy that $3.99 clothes pack or an ingame currency kit with my 30k + 25k + 10k medical, food and gas supplies.
RELEASE PVP!!!!! and expand upon it. Its completely stupid for a game of this scale to only allow a 4v4 mode. . . . . . .
Do more of the Ricky Sandovol type missions. . . . but don't require Amazon Prime. When The Division was released, one of the really cool things about it was the videos that were released with one of the characters or a random character "updating" us on the infection and stuff that was coming down the pipe (that was later released in patches or content). DO THE EXACT SAME THING in Ghost Recon and release little videos that get us hyped for the content.
I mean hell, if you released ONE territory right now. . . . I would be happy and have more of the story to tell.
Just my 2 cents. . . . Like I said, I absolutely love this game and the franchise. . . . but for those of us that are hard core fans and players, its just not enough after the $110 bucks. I honestly wish I just bought the standard edition because the Deluxe only gave me a bike a never see and a gun I never use. . . . . . Signed up for amazon prime for War Within The Cartel, and watching the video, then DOING those missions was AMAZING!. You guys are going to have to do that ALOT more if you want this game to survive.
