Mainly a Lawbringer Post with other comments
Rep 10 Lawbringer here, this is simply a post of several things in this game that literally made me say "Wtf were the devs thinking?".
This is in no particular order, just as they pop in my head.
The LB's impaling charge- Always comes from the same direction, and if parried completely exhausts the LB, and gives the opponent a free GB, resulting in a stumble. If facing beserker that results in a 90 dmg punish, if against a pk that results in a 66 dmg punish......wtf. The move itself does 15 dmg with no follow up unless close to a wall.
LB zone attack- The slowest ZA in the game at about 57 frames, aside from the Kensei's (another wtf moment), and then you have the PK's ZA at about 9 frames with no recovery frames even if blocked....wtf. How did this make it to release?
LB shove- Slower than the other unblockables, punishable, and leads to nothing guaranteed, except stam dmg but also takes stam to use...wtf. Is the LB meant to be Dan Hibiki?
Long Arm- This entire move is ******ed. First in a 1v1 nothing combos into this, all you get is a light, for something so easily dodge, and punished with a free GB. Or you can just decide to hit him with a light since there's no hyper armor on it. If it happens to actually land you get a whoping free light. Then in a 4v4 you turn into a pancake flipper. In the history of gaming, no one likes to be stun locked, why is this a thing?!....wtf
Guard Stance switching- Why the actually f*ck would you make the stance switch slower for some characters. The input doesn't even register after the 3rd change and will "Skip" the next change...wtf
Revenge- I actually like the "idea" of this mechanic. However in practice the way it currently is it can be game breaking, due to various CCs in the game resulting in a guaranteed stumble....wtf. Not to mention unlimited stam, everyone has fought against a pk in revenge gear spamming ZA...wtf
Attack speed- Has a stupid slow attack speed even on lights, with no hyper armor anywhere (as he stands there in full plate). With such a slow attack speed, a pk (most played class) can zone attack as a reaction to any movement besides a dash back or shove, and counter anything I do, as it will interrupt anything I do as well.
The character has no offensive options, aside from a single top light, which is what most "high level" fights turn into. The LB turtles and tries to poke down their opponent with the occasional light attack, since it only leads into a heavy that can't be feinted (guaranteed to be parried), they literally can't do anything after a light attack. All the while hoping to land a light parry, using a slow guard change, that doesn't respond if used more than twice in succession.
He's the most badass looking character in the game, and is the worst character in the game at fighting. Currently the Warlord is better in every way possible.
I saw a dev mention that they wanted to bring his duel win stats up and not his 4v4. Well make him viable in 1v1, then simply take away the ability to spam long arm in 4v4s, problem solved.
If a dev actually reads this and would like feedback on suggestions to change some of this I'll add it. Otherwise that's my feedback, and still have no idea what the person that made the character was thinking.
