Without rudder, it is difficult to line up with the airstrip during landings.

Especially when the rebels like to hang around the parked helicopter, oblivious to the fact a crippled F-18 Super Hornet is flying with a dead stick on a carrier landing approach.

I whole-heartidly agree! The lack of yaw control is frustrating to no end.

The plane and helicopter controls are my biggest gripe right now (on PC, mouse and keyboard) The helo's I can manage just, the planes are impossible to fly. The flight controls need a complete rework.
