Really? Shugoki top tier? He can't spam you with light, he can't cancel his heavy attack and charge in you, his attacks can be easily parried. Valkyrie much stronger!
P.S. And you have 36 lvl valk, so mb you're valk player, so... And try to play vs 10+ prestige valks

Dude shugoki players are winning more competitive tournaments than wardens?? Surely that says something? For the record every class in the game can cancel heavy attacks. Conq just needs to go full shield block to do his. If you play shugoki by spamming attacks rather than wait for trades or parry then you're doing something very wrong with him. He has the most annoying unlocked dash which knocks you down and gives him a free heavy. He can mix this up by going for a GB if you try to dodge too early. If he gets a GB and throws you into a wall then he gets his free back breaker which gives him health back and has a few other useful tools. I've played rep 20 shugokis who do nothing else other than run unlocked at you to try and get this cheap damage off of you. His uninterruptable stance is deadly in a good players hands.

So now addressing your "response" to why I think Valk is fine. You clearly didn't read my previous post properly did you? She is rep 1 lvl 16 with me so what? You're missing out on my close to rep 4 Kensei which is obviously my main Char. You haven't used any facts or stats to prove me wrong so why should I just accept that you HAVE to be right here? You cannot put Valk on the same level as a Conqueror or Warlord. Her sweep attack is so easily punished whereas Conq and Warden are safe and more unpredictable. There's a reason why Valk, Kensei, Raider, Lawbringer, Beserker, Nobushi and Orochi haven't won a tournament yet. They're mid to low tier characters that don't have an easy, spammable way to deal damage that's safe from parry etc. I would happily face a rep 30 Valk than a lvl 1 warden or Conqueror any day of the week. Even if I got my arse kicked I would have enjoyed the fight because SKILL was what decided the outcome of the fight, not an unbalanced mechanic.

P.S. Reputation has no bearing on skill level in this game. It just means that player knows his class a little better. Take LucasFlo for example. He is only a rep 6/7 Kensei but probably the best player I've played against and many would agree. It would also be interesting to know what class you play if you're having such a hard time with Valk. Could easily just be a bad match up for you like my Kensei going against a Conqueror.

they need to nerf Valk. shes too broken with her revenge mode up. once you get KD you are gone for good. she can just sweep u over and over.

I will agree with you that it's very strong but Conqueror, Warlord, Warden, Nobushi and Lawbringer all have that effect when in revenge mode and using charges/kicks. Take it away from one then you have to take it away from all. (Which I kinda like the sound of anyways)

If spamming attacks are what make valk op I can mention a few other characters that can fall into the op category.
Its not the character that's op its the way people play them but sure whinge gripe moan about valk being op.
She is easily punished and players who are having difficulty should practice against the lvl 3 bot , do not put yourselves in compromising positions like against walls or hallways, before crying out for nerfs change your approach against them.
A purely reactive valk is much more punishing than a spamming one I shudder to think of all the nerf posts when people actually get experienced in using her and don't have to rely on spamming sweeps.
All this cry for nerfs to characters is why we cant have nice things.
What if they were to nerf your favorite character because people spam attacks?
Get properly experienced with your chosen character, learn how to defend against all characters and their attacks profit from your new found knowledge then you wont have to come crying on the forums to have something nerfed.
Seriously practice is what you need to survive I have struggled against a couple of characters myself and only through practice did I learn how to counter against them.

There you go. All attack speeds of all characters. Her attacks are the same speed as any other openers of other characters. Certainly not as fast as PK.
Dodge the shield bash or leg sweep and punish her low HP. Also her attacks are extremely easy to parry due to having consistent framerates throughout the chains. Git gud.

I think this sums up the thread tbh. Just learn to play against people who play Valk rather than cry and moan on the forums about their apparent OP ****. You justify yourself with no facts and just say we're Valk players... Did you not see the video link? Seriously deluded if you still disagree. Seems like any class played in the right hands would cause you to cry that they're OP. Should I expect a Lawbringer and Raider thread next time?

Again you're saying something that's completely irrelevant to the topic YOU made and didn't address the information that's in the posts on YOUR thread. I never said I was good. I said I was a Kensei and tried to use facts to prove Valk isn't overpowered yet you still say I have to be a Valk just because I have some experience with that class... You have facts right infront of you about how Valk isn't as strong as you think it is and you decide to throw this **** at me? Dude please pull your head out of your arse and see some common sense! You're the one moaning about how Valk is OP and you pull my stats out to justify nothing other than try to make me look bad? Also it's 58% duel WR which when I'm maining as a Kensei, I will happily take especially when I'm mainly put up against PK, Warden or Conqueror. Oh and don't forget the 2.72 k/a/d on deathmatch modes if you really want to go there with stats...

If it will make your ego a little better then feel free to duel me and if you win then you can feel like the amazing, unquestionable badass you are . I'm not doubting your overall skill but if you moan about Valk then what must you think of PK or Conq? All I asked for in my first post on this thread was a nice reason as to why you think Valk is OP. I proved all of your opinions wrong with facts and went about it in a nice way till now and so have other people here yet you still wont accept them and then try to insult me. Just know that if you do duel me and I beat you then it will make you look like a colossal ****

I wouldn't say Valk is OP, but she is broken against some characters. Can't block her light switch up at all as nobushi, so gives her a guaranteed sweep.

The valkyrie needs reverted back to how it was befote 100%. Whoever is defending the Valkyrie obviously plays it and doesnt want to see their cheap character become balanced. The valkyrie before the update was already strong. Now with the increase in speed the valkyrie is rediculous. Its just like the peacekeeper. Spam light attacks along with all of its other cheap repeat moves. I cant believe ubisoft hasnt patched the peacekeeper and Valkyrie yet. They really must be looking to ruin their game even further than it already being broken for connection.

You're someone not trying to insult me so i'll try and say this in a reasonably nice way Valk isn't OP. Look at the link in another persons post above it shows many classes having similar speed attacks to PK and Valk. If you know how to parry then its easy if someone is spamming it on a Valk. I know the mixup can be hard/annoying if you don't react quick enough or whatever but the simple fact is that no1 has played Valk in a tournament and won... Out of all mid/low tier characters she is most likely the strongest. But pales in comparison to PK, Conq, Warden and Warlord. Personally on a Kensei I don't have trouble with Valk unless the player is better than me.
