Never had any problem against wardens (playing LB) Since I used to play a bit with him, I know his attacks so he is easier to counter for me. . but hey, every one have is own nemesis. personally its valkyrs and nobushis....and of course light spamming PK...
Anyway, this guy gives some good tips against warden if you are interrested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsTtGsh_WgA

Your judgment is clouded by your personal bias and anger. Rather than lashing out at the mechanics, take your time to observe the dynamic of the game and form a proper strategy to dealing with each class. I've beaten many wardens of many different skill levels. I've also lost to many different wardens of different skill levels. It's your job to approach each situation with an open mind and patience.

I don't see how that video helps much. Yes, the advice about not throwing top attacks and keeping your guard in right while neutral are good but the part about dashing to avoid the shoulder bash is misleading. You can't dash out of every shoulder bash unless they are using it without the mixup, that is, you can only dodge it if they do the shoulder bash without having first done some sort of attack.

If the Warden initiates with a double side light he can shoulder bash. If you do nothing you will receive a double side light. If you dash like he suggests, the Warden can cancel his shoulder bash into a grab (which is free for him because you just dashed), do a double side light and restart the combo. The only way to get out is to roll out which costs half your stamina and if you go into an exhausted state then the Warden gets to have his way with you since you can't roll if you're exhausted.

It's incredibly unpunishable, unfair, and OP. It needs tweaking. All I fight are Wardens now and I hate it. This combo ruins the game for me.

I usually play defensive so I always keep my distance, when they shoulderbash in my direction I dodge to the back and punish them with a light attack to the face.
(I'm fatpuppet btw, logged in with the wrong account earlier.)

If you play a character that can counter the bash, it is not as bad, but still way too safe, easy and spammable.
