Why does guardbreak have a guaranteed hit against someone who is currently dashing backwards?
When playing as an assassin(with my playstyle), i always seem to do a dash about half a second before the enemy starts a guardbreak. This often leads to a lost fight, because the guardbreak is 100% guaranteed hit while dashing.
Is the guaranteed hit a bug or a feature?
Suggestion: At least, shouldn't the attacker be missing the guardbreak attempt, while you are dashing backwards (away) from the opponent.
Suggestion 2: Maybe you should enable countering the GB. The dash is one of the basic moves of the assassins. While dashing, you are basicly feeling like the game is rock/scissor/papers.
When you get caught in a dash by a GB it's what's known as a confirmed guard break. You have to be careful when you dash you might be leaving yourself completely exposed if someone was waiting for you to dodge. Dodging isn't the get out of jail free card that you might think it is.
If you want to know a bit more about guard breaks I did make a video about it pre patch, the first half has most of the info. Either way they intended it.
