Are zone attacks OP? Or are they needed to balance the defensive meta?

Orochi, Warden, Peacekeeper. All these characters have a basically unguardable zone attack that you can only prevent if you see it coming and pre-block it. Considering Warden, Orochi, and Peacekeeper may very well all be top 6 characters already, do they really need this move? I main Orochi and I don't use zone often; I prefer to counter and parry. But when I have used it, I have never been blocked. The problem is some users use it too comfortably and it opens up their other attacks since your focused on trying to stop that single attack. HOWEVER, there is a huge defensive meta right now, so maybe these attacks are needed? What do yous think?

Orochi and Warden's zone attacks are 12 frames, which is pretty fast but it is still possible to react to them, but pk's 9 frames zone attack is just ridiculous and needs to be a bit slower imo. But when you take the false indicator bug on zone attacks into consideration, it's a different story. I don't understand why this hasn't been hotfixed yet.

Main problem with this zones is flicker. Its hard to react to this attacks on their own even top players fail a lot. Adding flicker to it becomes impossible.

Yes. They are guardable to a extent. Add in flickers, faints, other offense, and the fact that some characters like berserker and Orochi have to time their blocks or it resets, makes it very hard to react to. Take into account the versatility of these characters already, PK is already top 2, if not the GOAT, Oroch and warden are top 6. I personally dont mind it, it takes ledges to make me rage. But as someone who exclusively plays duel and brawls with a 74% win rate and 2.41 KD, I can say a large majority of my losses come from players who use this move skillfully.
