    Robust/Sturdy Talents working as intended?

So I have a current armor value of 38% on a build that uses the Robust chest and Sturdy holster, without those two equipped the armor is at 31% Does anyone know if it is supposed to add another 25% armor or is it working as intended by taking 25% of your current armor value and tacking that on?

    It's not "add".

It adds the 2 bonuses and multiplies the Armor you have. 31*1.25 = 38.75. Obviously it would have been stronger if it were +25%. Both the talents are weak alone and even together they only account for about 16% damage mitigation.

    This ^

Although, the Robust/Sturdy combo does work nicely if you're a backline sniper. The mitigation at that kind of range is a lot more beneficial.

    Somewhat true.

As a backline sniper you would still probably considering Reckless over Sturdy, and use Mobile Cover with Mobile Cover DR mods hit that 36% skill power free DR, an additional 10% damage and CHC from Counter Measures MC rather than stacking on Robust/Sturdy.

There is however a similar build utilizing other accurate guns, but relying on more DR and health regen.

Still I don't think it's fair what they did to Robust and Sturdy. Particularly because they are so easy to counter.

I agree on Reckless completely, I'd never say the Robust/Sturdy combo is optimal for a backliner, but it's definitely a solid option.

Thanks for the replies guys, when I did the calculations yesterday I opted to go with Reckless chest and Bliss's holster for the Sentry build. 8% more armor isn't worth it when I can get up to 28% more damage lol.

    Interesting build attempts though.
