Dear developers,

I really like your game, its genuine and exciting, but I belive there are some issues with the matchmaking mechanics, and I would like to add my thoughts.
Allegedly the matchmaker search based on skill level from strict to all skill levels. Tough I have never been playing one single match when the matchmaker found a game with the stricter chategories I still have many questions. What is "skill level" exactly? My overall win or kill-death rate with all of my chars? But I could be great with one while still **** with another. The prestige level of my account? That has nothing to do with skills, it is rather "hours played". My avarage gear level? Also makes no sense. I feel like there aren't any sophisticated background mechanics at the moment other than "find a game as soon as possible".

Character selection
It should happen before the matchmaking for several reasons:
- the matchmaker would be able to consider your gear and stats with that character
- it could shorten the loading process like 2 min which could be spent on setting up more balanced games.
- It wouldn't narrow your options in any ways. The difference between caharacters is mostly playstyle, you dont need 1 tank 1 healer and 2 dps or something like that, and you cannot see ur opponents either, so its not vital to see your teammates choice.

Gear
This is the most important. Because while it is fine being beaten up by a player better than you, being beaten up by worse players only because of gear isn't right at all. I don't enjoy butchering white and blue gear guys when I play my high level characters, it is cheap and boring, neither I enjoy being on the other side. Imo the best would be to simply seperate 2 groups: white and blue - purple and above. Or at least, make it even between teams. If there are 8 random guy in a match, stop making all purple vs all white teams.

Otherwise I aggree with the idea to consider the player skills too, but only after the gear issue have been solved.

Orders
If you keep the matchmaking system as it is, please at least consider changing the orders. Now the most common order is some class specific / neutral 4v4, and sometimes some neutral duel / brawl. So if you want to reach reputaion 3 with a new character and complete contracts, you, most of the time, are being forced to play 4v4 against much higher gear opponents. Also you should be taking to account that 4v4 is already gives more exp. I think there should be much more duel and brawl based quests and these could be class specific, meanwhile fewer 4v4 quests which should always be neutral. Then you cuold practice, learn, and level-up playing ungeared modes, then once you leveled and geared up you can jump into the 4v4 modes. The system now don't really supports or encourages you playing duel and brawl even though in my opinion lots of the games sweet details only shines in these modes and these are also much better to learn.

Just... please let us toying with customizaion or war assets while waiting those long loadings and searchings.
