Hi, I'm currently trying to git gut with conqueror, but having some issues defeating Nobushis.
Whenever their attacks get parried, they get thrown so far away that you cant really punish them either with a grab or a light attack, sometimes if they are dumb you can dash and smack them once with light, but thats about it.
Does anyone have any tips how to effectively deal damage to Nobushis as a Conq?
Thank you in advance
Does not, and it's dangerous to do because the hit post block/deflect is not guaranteed, and can even be parried... good players exploit thatOriginally Posted by secrecy274 Go to original post
It's impossible to block, so I doubt they can parry it.Originally Posted by MassiveD. Go to original post
It's both blockable and parryable, I was wondering if its working as intended or a bug, but I tested with a friend and both me and him could block and parry every time. It's not a riposte like Wardens top light or Warlords lights, it just enables you to attack very fast, after the initial block but if player is quick enough he can block / parry it all the time no problemOriginally Posted by secrecy274 Go to original post
Since you're staggered for about half a second after a Conqueror block, it's mechanically impossible for them to dodge/block/parry it.Originally Posted by MassiveD. Go to original post
So it's a bug then? Because even bots block / parry it 95% of the time.Originally Posted by secrecy274 Go to original post
And his block only staggers enemy heavy attacks, not light attacks.
Both valkyrie and nobushi can spam lights at you all day without consequences, and even if you parry them you can't punish because they get thrown too far away for a grab
Isn't that the point of having long range weapon?Originally Posted by MassiveD. Go to original post
It may be, but that is not the point of the thread nor the question I'm asking, I wish to know how to deal damage to them as a conquerior, who has short and stubby attacks, and cannot effectively punish parrys.Originally Posted by Draghmar Go to original post
