Getting blackscreen/freezes at the end of rounds. I can't play the game. | Forums

At the end of a round the game freezes/blackscreens and it doesn't fix itself and i have to alt+f4 the game and restart it. I have a hell of a time getting any orders completed. I can't finish matches. This **** isn't fun and only started after the last 2 updates. This NEVER happened in the beta.

Are you in a group when you get these black screens? Thats the only time I get them, for me it happens because the group leader starts matchmaking too fast after the last game has ended. If he cancels the matchmaking after it happen it should fix the black screen, assuming it's the same issue.

Playing solo. And it happens between rounds, not just at the end of matches.

Wow you are getting this problem now??? i had this ever since the update on feb 28th. i cant play duel, brawl, and elimination because of it. happens 70% of the time. and sometimes just randomly in other modes. I played in open beta and on release perfectly fine without any problems. Sent a case on that exact date and they took almost an month to reply to me seriously. But all they did was to ask me to update my windows, drivers, forward their network, disable my computer services and my start up programs, and also disable my firewall. and guess what i done most of those things before i sent a case and none of those were the root cause. Ubisoft dont know the root cause yet but for sure something with the update on 28th is the root cause.

I have the same problem. What specs do you guys have? I have an intel core 2 duo E6750, an amd radeon 7870 and 4GB RAM. The game whines about too low specs but i have between 40-50 fps and the only trouble I have are these freezes/black screens (the game usually freezes when the screen goes black after a round which is extra annoying since you have to wait and see if you are still in-game after every round it happens).

Edit: I also have a newly installed win 10 x64 and updated drivers.

I have a G620 and I get the black screens and freezes at the end of matches. Had no problems before 1.03. But if I disable a core it doesn't happen, which is really counter-intuitive lol. It's impractical though, because the fps go down and during elimination matches half of the enemies and allies don't appear on screen, so I can't play this mode.

theory is not proven yet, but since i switched from fullscreen mode to windowed - problem is gone....
