They finally admitted that it has nothing to do with host or any other player. In fact it is not even an error, new support response to 0002001512 error is what we always assumed it was; session timeout for matchmaking. Meaning there are no players to match you with; AKA Game is Dead

As suspected! They need to fix the game so we can at least play with everyone else! I am on Xbox One and can only play 1v1! They need to fix the game so that everyone can play together otherwise the game is dead in our region. Absolutely ridiculous how they blamed us at first.

    Same

Same here. 002001512, and sometimes 0004000025. I've only ever been able to play one (short!) game of For Honor. Close to giving up. Nat colour is green, forwarded all the ports. I'm in Australia, if that matters.

So we're going to be left stranded without a fix and official word from ubi? Downed 60$ into this game that I can't even play, and getting a refund is pretty much impossible as well. Great.

OMG why cant they simply allow anyone that is playing to host and allow ppl to join as they come, so simple but i guess they are this stupid

So I decided to try and use my phone to make a hotspot and use wireless data to play the game. To my surprise I could find a match in mere seconds, despite the strict NAT type wireless data had. When I switched back to my local wifi, I still had the same problem. So I've identified that the problem lies with my wifi connection most likely. However, I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips, including forwarding ports, uPnP, DMZ, resetting host file, flushing dns, checking firewall settings, restarting the router multiple times. I have no idea what's wrong or what's changed, since 4 days ago I could play the game just fine without any problems on my wifi connection. I can play every other game fine as well.

What modes do you get this error message on? What is the activity level when you see this error message? Thank you!
That post is offensive. The issue is 100 % consistent for all games and game modes, and was introduced with patch 1.07 (for me), so you can do your own troubleshooting, Ubisoft. Fail.
