Disable the targetting dot in the middle of the screen?

Okay since todays update there is now a dot in the centre of my screen like you would have in a FPS to show where your bullets are going to hit.
In a melee fighting game this seems pointless.
It is also very distracting / immersion breaking.
it glows brighter when it is over an enemy (thanks never would have realised the 6 foot wide bright Orange Shoguki right in front of me was my foe otherwise!)
Cannot see an option to disable it.
Anyone know if it's possible to get rid of the damn thing?

Well ... err ... really? How can I have played this long and never noticed it?
    Damn.
Well I guess I do sprint a lot and it vanishes then, and in combat, right, so it's okay to have not noticed it for 5 weeks? Right?

The weird thing is that it sticks around even if you disable your UI.

I know, it's one of those things that once you see it you can't unsee it, lol

Its been there forever on console. I try use it with drop attacks from very high heights on moving targets. Otherwise its completely useless

it's always been there for me, albeit it's pretty useless. this is no FPS, if i want to switch target i just let go of left trigger and re-engage it real quick, no aiming needed. I'd turn it off if i could.
