    Revenge is a survival tool, that's what it was always intended to be. The Devs have said themselves its too powerful in its current form. You are supposed to die if you are alone and outnumbered and being attacked by multiple targets, this is what is usually known as you screwed up / you suck = you die. Revenge exists to balance out ganking and give you a chance. The very fact you think it is supposed to be for offence proves there is something very wrong with it

    It is a offensive tool there are offensive feat assassins get "revenge gain on ATTACKS" and a stat saying "revenge ATTACK" and it's not your fault if your put in a 1v4 wtf? Elimination you can be last one alive dominion your siting there guarding points. Turning revenge into a run away mechanic is flat out stupid also what about the ppl who play heavys? How are they going run away? Add speed boost to revenge next lol? Why not instead make revenge teleport the player to base instead of giving shields/attack(that's how dumb your reasoning is)

    1st hit or guardbreak will not add to the revenge meter at all and have this passive refresh every 5 seconds or so. That way people can still help a teammate out with poke damage. It makes the player fight like the bots (circle the enemy and only attack every few seconds)
    People complaining about revenge gear are just the bastards that try to gank people continuously....yeah let's nerf revenge mode so everyone keeps ganking 3v1 successfully - rather than giving the victim a chance.

    Things can only be fixed if they're broken. Revenge isn't broken, it's working exactly as intended.
