This upcoming Tuesday I should be able to settle some game time to check out the spots in these videos. I'll try to before then but my work hours have been nuts the past few days.

Of course you can't, where do you think Wood Man gets all his leaves?

My favorite rifle in the game is the SR-25, but the one I wind up using the most is the HTi mainly for penetration and anti vehicle, since I get tired of having to run a AR with underbarrel launcher all the time.

I've had leaves stop a .50 round. I've had regular old plain jane plane glass windows stop a .50 round. I've shot several vehicles several times with an unsuppresses .50 and all it does is plink and start slightly smoking from a half dozen .50 rounds.

And then there are times where I can kill two guys in a line with a single .50 round.

Never mind the fact that at 500+ meters getting hit by a .50 round you'd basically be cut in half from the round itself.

Since penetration is a thing, sorta, in this game, why can I not take out soft targets THROUGH material? A round that can exceed 12,000 ft lb's of energy cannot penetrate a corrugated tin walled hooch and obliterate the poor SOB on the other side? Typical 6" - 12" concrete foundation & wall used in home construction offer little resistance at all to a .50 BMG, and yet I can't punch through a wall of your average Bolivian house and turn the guy on the otherside into red mist?

Yeah that is probably the case. Or more direct, probably a line graph, where if the rifles penetration is this high it can penetrate these materials, and such.

This topic was dust and was dug up. It was already verified that this is a platform related issue and the mods already acknowledged they are passing this on as feedback. More specifically it seems to be a PS4 issue, as PC users can shoot through anything just fine (as demonstrated by me in multiple videos), while those on PS4 seem to be having a collision issue (as demonstrated by SuperHugger in his videos, and he is on PS4).

No it's definitely a PC issue too. I've experienced it dozens of times where my assault rifles won't penetrate leaves, chain link fences, etc. And no, I'm not going to go to the effort to take video and post it just to try to convince you. This is stuff Ubisoft's QA process should have picked up and fixed, it's happening to a lot of people in various situations.

You're very arrogant and self-centered if you think just because you haven't seen these issues then no other player could possibly be experiencing them. There are many reports of this happening on all platforms so quit white-knighting for Ubisoft by downplaying other users experiences and concerns.

Foliage is frustrating. Like tossing a grenade and it slightly clips a leaf it goes off in your face. This is my number one issue with the game.

Really? Because you read, understood, and participated in EVERY thread I ever spoke about this in and not ONCE did you reply when i asked if anyone having the issue was on PC. Good job in sharing information, there. In fact you are the first person I have seen now coming out saying you are on PC and somehow miraculously having this issue. Everyone else I have spoken to has been on PS4 with the issue.

Still, being as nice as I am, my offer still stands ... link me to your video (and yes, you did record a video) of the situation where you are having this issue and I will go replicate it. If there is a spot where the issue exists for PC users, then it will be a spot where anyone can replicate it. Bugs do not just happen to "some people" A bug is a bug ... period.
