    Enemy Numbers

Whilst I appreciate the map is supposed to represent a country, I know that there will be extended periods of travel in which we will come across barely any enemies other than the odd little pocket of people and I am 100% ok with that.

When I attack a prison in San Matteo that is as huge as it is however I expect to see a lot more guys. I really feel like the quantity of enemies is seriously lacking especially in the bigger bases and main story missions... The San Matteo mission I mentioned for example had only 15 guys in the compound... and before someone says it, I played the mission 3 times for footage for a YouTube video so it wasn't glitched out.

I am playing on Extreme Difficulty with No Hud and it seems as though the only difference between Extreme and Arcade is the number of hits I can take before going DBNO. I expected to come across much larger groups of enemies in all honesty.

I really feel that certainly around the bigger bases and camps that the number of enemies patrolling should be at least tripled so that it is actually fairly challenging to take them all on, it would make the cartel seem more intimidating considering they are supposed to be powerful enough to nearly be the government in this fictional Bolivia.

Any one else found this to be the case?

While difficulty doesn't control the amount of enemies, it does control their awareness level (towards you). So at the same distance, a player on extreme will be detected earlier/quicker than the one playing on arcade.

The game also mentions 'agression level' but not really sure what that means or how it works.

I haven't found the game to be even remotely challenging on extreme. Especially with 2 other friends communicating. It's a lot of fun don't get me wrong, but far from even a challenge. The bases are empty. I'm not even suggesting that the number of enemies should be directly tied in to the difficulty setting, but I did expect a correlation. I just feel that when you go into a HUGE base and only 15 enemies stand in your way, the base can be cleared in about 2 minutes (the second minute is trying to find that one elusive enemy that is stuck on a rock at the back of the base).

I also find it odd that people can play together on different difficulty settings but that is another thread entirely.
