Forcing ppl to DC in game

Due to its P2P system i have to say its extremely easy to force DC someone as long as you are the host. I've had so many accasions where one in game would says if you win ill DC you etc.

and DC the moment someone leaves the game because the host already left. this happens quite alot of times and it adds up to my frustration

also the issue with rage quitters. there has to be some penalty like -50 steel for ppl leaving games. its stupid, the moment someone dies or if they went in a bad matchup all you have to do is ALT + F4, restart game and ur good to go.

i can even abuse this to only fight against weak opponents and alt + f4 the moment someones good

    this needs to be fixed

And sadly it wonb't be, because it would imply far too much costs, rewriting large chunks of the game and putting a real server infrastructure in place for a fast crumbling playerbase.

The new politic of Ubi is "games as services". But they have no kind of experience in this field. They still develop their games like solo AAA titles for consoles retail market with little or at least very secondary online functionalities, with a predetermined expiration date.
They don't know how to exploit a game in the long term and provide the quality of service that makes it last. The only thing they retained is the cash shop

Somebody would tell you : But, but, look at The Division or R6 Siege, it imporved !
    Yes ... maybe.
But it took a year or more, and they are still crippled with unforgivable stupid mistakes when it comes to basic design (trusted client network for The Division for example, an heresy) and nowadays their playerbase is nowhere near what it should have been if there was a real experienced online publisher behind these titles.

They won't be able to produce anything good regarding their new politics if they don't deeply transform their working and production chain process and habits.
Ibf4 Bolloré fianlly decides to buy them no matter what and makes some heads fall.

Well, Ubisoft apparently is the only company in the world who, in 2017, decides to launch a multiplayer based game with P2P connection instead of dedicated servers. They get what they deserve. This is just one of the problems with the game, so many bad decisions were made. The game is dying, which is sad, and i fell robbed of my money, but I've learned my lesson. Too bad I am sure they haven't learned theirs.

The gameplay concept is too good to die with the game, I'm sure a more competent game developer will make a successful game with it over the next couple of years.

You can only make a quitting penalty once they fix the DC problems, what happens when you're playing with a friend and he gets DC'd in the first 30 seconds of a match and you don't? I don't know about you but if I'm trying to play with a buddy I'm not going to stick around and play a full game after he gets DC'd.

Also if matchmaking was more fair you'd see a lot less rage quitting as well, it's a horrible idea to pick your character after matchmaking. Not only do other players have much better equipment but they also have way more experience playing their characters. It's completely unbalanced and I'm not sure how they thought it would work like this.

The only game I've played with quitting penalties was rainbow 6 siege and I don't know about anyone else but I never had any connection problems on that game.

One or two days ago there was a poll, still there, where most people was defending the point that, in 4vs4, the most important thing is win, at any cost. They didnt care if ppl use all the cheapest set of moves aviable, arguing about ganking as a duty, etc. And they do all these things because they can, the game allow them do it, so they use it to get their win, that is the only thing thats matter in the end. In the same logic i can say that then not to lose is the second thing most important. So if i have to leave a match to avoid a lose, then maybe i will. Because i CAN, the game allow me to do it, there is an option in the game menu. And sorry, i dont think Ubisoft ll do anything to change it.

More than often, it's better to have an AI ally than an "honor" Player in 4v4
At least, the AI tries to work for the team.

And you're confusing basic ruleset and very, very poor UI & UX design.
The ruleset is clear. There's no 1v1 in 4v4 matches. There's only 4v4.

I'd really like to see your face when playing Chivalry MW or Mount & Blade, or a shooter.
God it must be hilarious to see how much you would be in shock in front of such sheer brutality.

There's no such thing as a "host" in this game.

    There is a session host.
Always, even when every client runs its own simulation.
You even have a message when entering a party telling you that you entered XXX party

    Some elements

Then your new to the game obviously. every game has a host and it is piss easy to force DC someone. as a result winning the round instantly since all of them will die automatically. found this exploit while just playing the game and it is extremely easy to do. and alot of ppl uses it to rank up/ abuse bad matchups

Ah, so Ubisoft should be able to take back steel... that is purchasable with real money? From people who bought this game full price, and even may have been swindled into buying steel? You should honestly be the CEO of Ubisoft. You really get their customer service philosophy!
