Playing duel as PK vs a conq. Kinda rekt him in the first round (don't worry I'm not like the scrubs that use her OP light spam), so in the second he just goes and stands next to a ledge, taunting me to come over. We started emoting and eachother for at least a minute, and then I finally gave in and decided to come over and see what he did.
I managed to draw him back a bit from the ledge, so that when he GB and threw me, I just about stayed on. Then I see him attempting a shield bash to quickly finish the job, so I instantly do the dodging strike attack to avoid it. As I slide out of the way, he flies right past, slowing down just as he comes to the edge. However because of the extra little knockback from my hit, he ends up tumbling over the side to his doom.
It was 100% accidental and when it happened I couldn't help but think, "That's what you get for trying to fight like that,". I hope he learned his lesson.
2v1, matchpoint, me as a Lawbringer vs a Berserker and a Peacekeeper. After taking a beating I'm down to my last bar and bleeding. I'm standing on the ledge to the abyss, no hope in sight. They both charge me, I manages to do a double parry and guard break the Berserker, the Peacekeeper quickly sidesteeps behind me, doing her dodge attack. But I pull the Berserker past me, throwing him straight at the Peacekeepers just as she are about to hit me, knocking them both over the ledge. Alone I stand on the wall, only to succomb to my injuries the second after.
Simple:
Making a forum warrior here rage quit on me 4 times in duels.
28-0 on Highfort because people kept coming one at a time across bridge to C while I was on lawbringer
Taking 3v1 w/o revenge on Shugoki by bringing them into Thunderdome...IE back room on Citadel Gate A point
Getting my first hate message by a rank 18 ish Orochi by landing Crushing Counter every time he went up top.
Taking people 4v1 w.o revenge in Thunderdome on my Valk using firebomb and blocking exit
Numerous times I used Catapult to wipe out people rezzing others
winning 11 straight duel matches on my lawbringer
Lots of moments. I also have more salty ones.
1) Disconnects that UBISOFT blames on me
2) Assassins out of stamina that dont fall down
3) A dagger wielding woman can stagger spam a shugoki
4) Invincibility frames on dodge
5) Valk shoulder pin almost never works even though I hear the block on dodge
6) Zone indicator glitch that isnt considered an exploit
7) Catching a total of 11 people using cheats on console and they are still playing
8) Nazi emblems still are around
9) Rampant copyright infringement of streamers (UBISOFT will eventually stop all the Marvel/DC emblems) I have reported numerous people to Marvel/Disney and DC for streamers making money off of their copyrights
10) No way to report inappropriate names Xx_suckmyphallus_xX (yes thats an actual player that I reported)
I was in a pretty vicious dominion match. Both teams were breaking, and after a brutal 4v3 in the middle, myself (Shugoki) and a Friend (Lawbringer) were the last from our team left standing, both on one bar of health, and the heal node I was standing on hadn't recharged. The timer was ticking down from about 40 seconds.
The only player left on the enemy team was a fresh LB charging towards us, buffed to the nines and with a prestige score FAR in excess of even the combined total of our own, who had obviously been nobly seeking powerups while his teammates bled out.
"****, we're gonna die!" my friend bravely screamed into his mike in a manly falsetto.
"Wait, I have a plan!" said levelheaded Kiiyor. "Buy me some time! Start spamming your emote at him! He's a LawBringer, he can't resist, it's like starting a howl off!"
Sure enough, the allure of the versatility mating ritual proved too much, and the two majestic iron clad behemoths clashed in a spectacular dance off long enough for the health node I was standing on to recharge.
With ten seconds remaining, I screamed my fat man war cry, charged the still-dancing LawBringer, and bravely sacrificed myself by missing my charge and allowing the LB to deposit my brave carcass into some spikes.
In true Dragobnball Z style, my heroic sacrifice provided my teammate with the strength he needed to break free from the hypnotic clutches of the emote spam, and he used his own charge to deposit our worthy enemy next to my own corpse.
To an untrained eye, the many dances of the Lawbringer are indistinguishable from one another, but the one carried out that day by my friend was conducted with the utmost respect.
This just won the game. Everyone else needs to quit in humble respect of such a victory, and ballads should be penned in honor of the deeds of you and your comrades.Originally Posted by Kiiyor Go to original post
Only recently started getting into warden, but I actually like him. This is what happened today.
Was facing off against an orochi. Because so many people play them I always know what they do and have gotten really good at parrying their heavies AND lights. Anyways he guard breaks, it doesn't work. Then he does his little pirouette top light attack. I managed to crushing counter his light attack. I guess he was still reeling from it so, immediately after for some reason I instinctively charged my shoulder charge to full and ran straight into him. He flew backwards straight into the wall conveniently behind him, ricocheted back at me and i finished him off with a top heavy.
Basically, I two shot an orochi
- every time I get to communicate to my opponent with emotes! (meaning they aren't spammers). nothing cooler than reeling from a great combo and gesturing to my enemy that I'm not finished yet...
- every time I cut off someone's head after a great fight. something about this game grabs me in the feels in a weird way.
- every time i land a deflect in a wind gust to finish a fight (so ****ing rare)
honestly playing this game is a pretty great experience.
Me and a friend were taking the area on Overwatch with the drop offs.Trying to save my friend after he was grabbed I shoulder charged the guy that grabbed him.He fell off but my friend went with him.
Another incident happened when I threw an orochi at the edge of a bridge but he literally dodge off of it falling tohis death.
