Alright please no harassing comments. Although this may sound extremely stupid and totally not medieval Europe related, but Pirates could very well be a character; IF Ubisoft manages to do it the right way.
If they can somehow figure out how to balance out a flintlock pistol, i'm sure plenty of people will be interested.
Pirates would have the following:
- Decreased (assassin) Guard
- Health similar or lower than PK (cloth and at most leather clothing)
- Sabre or Cutlass
- Blunderbuss shotgun feat
- In DUEL modes the flintlock pistol would only have TWO shots per life, each shot could be a zone, and would take 8 - 10 seconds to reload without interference such as being guard broken, or attacking (this forces the pirate to fight so the likely-hood of him or her shooting down opponents would be low, unless the opponent chooses not to attack. Remember: the pirate only has two shots)
What do you guys think? Yes/no?
Thanks manOriginally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original postHow much do you think it'll take for Ubisoft to consider??

I agree with the dirty play styleOriginally Posted by massive02 Go to original post
If there was overwhelming community support for it, we would certainly investigate the possibility.Originally Posted by xJacky21x Go to original post
not sure an idea for more dirty play is good to make the game more enjoyable..
but how about sticking with the time period... the Arabs had some pretty cool warriors.. the ones that fought in the Crusades
or the Mongols..
or go back a bit and have some Greek or Roman warriors...
sorry, i wanted to play in the "i wish" game too
So the medieval Era spanded from the 5th century to the 15th century. The first documented piracy was in the 14th century. So the time period fits.Originally Posted by dikyfiitswell Go to original post
When we talk about dirty play, we mean fight style. A leg trip would be the same mechanic as a valkyire sweep, just represented differently through animation.
On a side note, I also love the Arabian warriors and mongol idea as well, Why Not? This game broke realism when it pitted these factions together. I'd love to see the devs have fun with it.
