    @Ubisoft devs It's disgusting!!!

    Hello victims of the community!
    (FeelsBadMan
    )

    This thread is about my opinions and is mainly directed at the devs. I don't ask people to agree with me, just keep a respectful comment section, please!

    First of all to start off with, there is no Perfect products or services, but there is always room for improvements! I understand that. BUT....

    One of my opinions in a short sentence, it's disgusting how big money wh*res you are, Ubisoft!
    What bothers me the most as a stupid returning customer is the fact that money generators is your TOP priority. It's disgusting how greedy you are. I regret buying this game 100% and I would refund it, if it were possible.
    It is proven again and again and again, let's put this into context with an example.

    Recently, the new combat emotes and emote effects was released. It cost you 7000k/5000k steel. Assuming you want buy those with simple math, you would've to basically finish 175 matches of Dominion which rewards you about 40 steel per game with Champion Status?! excluding orders. i.e if you play about 10 matches a day for almost 18 days. You may afford the emote, that's about 2,5 hours a day if every dominion match is on average 15 minutes long. 2.5 hours is nothing when it comes to playing games but for someone who works a full-time job, not as a streamer that is, is a big deal.
    Instead it tempts and encoruages people to use the Ubisoft shortcut and pay for Steel with real money which btw would be completely fine by me if it were all cosmetics only!
    Joining matches vs people with full or high gear score and literally kills you in 2 hits is so stupid. Especially when everyone knows how broken the Revenge mechanic is, everyone picks their gear around the Revenge ability so they can abuse it to the fullest.

    Why I bought this game?
    I love the medieval-ish theme of the game, I love war games with melee combat such as "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" and I saw potential in this game which died quickly upon first week of the release. My inner-self desperately wants this game to flourish into something but at the same time can't stand how ignorant and blind the devs are.
    (You might've noticed I've been using "this game" many times, it's because the game doesn't deserve the title, imo Period!)

    ?Questions for Ubisoft?
    If we simply think about the psychological aspect, Ubisoft, why are you even considering releasing a very unpolished game to a full price when this game had the potential of becoming a cut diamond? If the company were slowly dying which is unlikely or the opposite, why not hire more people to work on the most importnant things to speed up the process of your "cleaning up the mess" which will reward you in the long run. Is it just 100% greed or are you really dying? or both?

    It has been active discussions about ranked and E-sport material but it's way off the equation because the game is just not there...yet?? Let's put this into context, i.e. In competitions, there is always rules. But rules that forbid you to play in a certain way or forbid you to pick certain classes because they're simply broken is just messed up. It would be like saying to a famous soccer player like Zlatan, "Sorry, you can't play it your way" or "You're too good, you're broken, ergo we can't allow you to play competitvely."

    By now, you, Ubisoft devs should understand my frustration. Still it pisses me off, when I see your weekly streams and you're sitting there with big smiles on your faces, "connecting with the community" and announcing stupid emotes and effects when there is much more importnant issues at hand. You're telling us fixes is on its way, balances and so forth but it's too much talk and no action. Even today as we speak, I still experience errors and disconnects. Come on Ubisoft, it's fu*king 2017! I rarely had any connection issues at all with other recent multiplayer games. Ironically, during one of your weekly streams, you even acknowledged the fact that you screwed up and apologized. Alright, ship has sailed.
    Thing is, we players/customers or whatever always get punished. We're the victims and can't do anything about it but cry a river, pick a different game and move on. I mean sure, if I could refund the game I wouldn't be writing this thread! But paying full price for a game and quitting shortly after is a big waste, like throwing money in the ocean.

    !Feedback to Ubisoft! (short version)
    Please, clean up your mess and don't be such vampires for money. Show me, us, the community real Honor! Because I personally feel like i've been thrown off a ledge.

    The only problem is that the only people who will read it will not have any ability to effect any change that could improve this perspective. None of their executive team will give a rat's *** what people think as along as the money keeps coming and the business grows. I deleted the long tangent about how publicly traded companies are the devil and how (on average) a CEO makes over 380x more than the average employee, not the janitor, a mid-workforce employee. Does the CEO really do 380x more work? Do they work 380x harder? Is the work they do 380x more valuable? Hell no.

    I will say this though, people need to stop complaining about $60 price points. Complain all you want about a bad product, but that price is AMAZING considering it has been around since SNES and hasn't gone up with inflation. This means companies are straining their dollars to the max and the unfortunate side effect of this is DLCs and microtransactions. Companies have to make their money back somehow. (Note: This does not excuse companies that exploit these.)

    Sadly, no. The people here are just pawns on the chessboard. But one can always hope it affects someone who takes action. I totally agree with you, CEO's don't work more or harder nor is their work worth more but you know, greed is like a addiction, it changes people. There is a powerful quote about greed I find accurate; "Leadership is a privilege to better the lives of others. It is not an opportunity to satisfy personal greed" You might've heard it before and unfortunately it's a never-ending sickness, imo.

    Regarding the price, you're probably right. It hasn't moved much or at all, but it irks me that refund is not an available option because if it were, this thread would've never been created. I know it's a bit more complicated when it comes to digital games but I mean, Steam already has the option so, there shouldn't be any excuses why Ubi don't, right?

    Micro-transactions, DLCs, Season Pass or whatever - it's common, popular, really good for countinous income to make their money back. I don't mind a single bit, it's just frustrating when companies exploits it, as you said. Like paying your way up the league in an already inbalanced and broken game. In a completely different game like Battlefield, if you're someone who hasn't got much time to play during the start or in general, you can buy kits that gives you certain weapons, gadgets etc etc, as a way of catching up. I support that, because it doesn't affect the whole gameplay experience. Nobody gets an advantage/disadvantage. It's another story but you get my point.
