For everyone that missed this or is interestered what is going on with For Honor and e-sport iŽll run down a few numbers for this tournament.
First and maybe only important info: A Peacekeeper won in the finals!!! named: Stonehead81 vs SypherPK (Shugoki)
Its been ~427 Attendees. I dont want to say "A lot people didnt showed up", because this time about 50% registered players didnt showed up.
I decided again to count the used Heros, not the main Heros. The distribution, looked like this (rounded):
1. Peacekeeper 20,8%
2. Warden 12,1%
3. Conqueror 10,4%
4. Warlord 9,9%
5. Nobushi 8,7%
5. Valkyrie 8,7%
7. Orochi 6,4%
8. Raider 5,2%
8. Shugoki 5,2%
10. Berzerker 4,6%
11. Kensei 4,0%
11. Lawbringer 4,0%
- Ro32: Unfortunately, the grid is kind of incomplete, i could only track down 26 main Heros. Which means 6 are missing. As always no Orochi was seen in this round, like Kensei and Lawbringer.
(Vitraxx & Richard, both been seen in finals before and are Peacekeepers, played a different Heros as well. Vit=Raider & King=Valkyrie.)
Overall its been: 7xWarlord, 6xPeacekeeper, 3xConqueror, 3xWarden, 3xNobushi, 3xShugoki, 1xBerzerker
- Ro16: 2xPeacekeeper, 2xWarden, 1xConqueror Nobushi & Shugoki. Everyone else: Warlord. I counted 6 in total... and guess that already enough for this tournament
Some observations:
- Kensei and Lawbringer are as always on the bottom of the used Heros
- the amount of pks is just unreal, i had to count this number on my own and yes 1/5 players is a peacekeeper.
- in terms of usage i compared this distribution with the first tournament. Because Valky and pk seemed to be used way more often than i am used to.
The amount of PKs almost doubled and more than 60%(!) of the Orochis are gone.
This is the chart to show how the distribution changed:
Peacekeeper + 9,8%
Valkyrie + 3,7%
Conqueror + 1,4%
Warlord + 0,9%
Raider + 0,7%
Shugoki + 0,2%
Berzerker + 0,1%
Lawbringer - 0,5%
Kensei - 1,0%
Warden - 1,9%
Nobushi - 2,3%
Orochi - 10,6%
Overall, without Syphers Shugoki this tournament would have been like every other. It is time for Ubi to start balancing things.
Sypher is entertaining to watch to say the least though from what I have seen there is just a whole lot of unlocking and very skilled charging, which is he pro at! Other than that single move, I don't even know if shugoki is capable of making top 32 unfortunately, Their class weakness in 1v1 battle is still there if you don't consider that move.Originally Posted by Juuzaam Go to original post
Where they do shine is in group battles though! They shine almost to the point of annoyance. That back break is absolutely bruital in a Dom setting (or any 4v4 play setting for that matter). The only thing that makes it so absolutely bruital is others hitting you while the Shugoki has you lifted up in the air. I wish that interrupted the shugoki or did heavy damage to them.
