Please add option to disable press and hold key mechanics.

Gaming has been fine for several decades without the need to press and hold a key down for basic and common tasks. I don't see how it's desirable on a console, let alone a PC. I don't know why console oriented games have been shifting in this direction lately. Everyone I know seems to dislike it and views it as a tedious annoyance.

Please, add an option to disable the requirement to press and hold. If the play has already decided to press the button the choice has been made. Why wait?

Indeed. If it's intended to prevent accidental button presses setting off actions, it's done the opposite: How many times I've failed to grab an enemy because I started holding the button a split second too soon so it doesn't do anything until I release it and hold again, or he turns around and detects me because the little outline around the prompt is still filling up. It's infuriating.

Yeah I'm on a Love/Hate with this "feature" and it's becoming more and more common too. CrookedBarrel nails it all for me. Good for no accidents, Bad when you "miss the mark" and it causes accidents...
