Connection based issues are our developers top priority right now. We hope to have more news to share on this soon.Originally Posted by SwhincK Go to original post

Hire a game company to look into this. I can provide you with contacts.

I am in agreement with him in regards to hiring a 3rd party tech squad that specializes in the coding needed to get fast and efficient fixes. I haven't quite left the Ubi-ship yet, but it is clear to all of us Ubisoft was NOT prepared when they released. Whether it's the suit's fault or hubris there comes a time when you need to realize that you can't do everything on your own. Some would even call that respectable.Originally Posted by AcceptYourDeath Go to original post
You made the wrong initial choice regarding network architecture.Originally Posted by UbiJurassic Go to original post
Your dev team won't be able to fix anything, because the base model itself doesn't work actually.
The only solution is to provide servers.
But we know that you can't redo the netcode of an entire game which wasn't designed to work with it in the first place. far too much work and costs. So it's basically screwed.
We just have to hope that your terrible retention rates made you learn a lesson for an hypothetical For Honor 2
One of the main mistakes I think is to have believed at some point that your were developing an actual fighting game, a VS fighting game.
FH is not a VS kakuto gamu. It's an arena brawler. See it like Chivalry, War of roses, Mount and Blade or even Power Stone.
And P2P in Vs fighting games only involve 2 players, not 8.
Finally, SF 5, the most played one, the most followed one on the Esports scene with more than 25 years of legacy .... is doing terrible numbers compared to others big Esports names actually. Like, really.
Why did you choose this model of fail ?
Dear Ubi
iv been following your games ever since the first farcry and ever since trying to play any games online was a joke to even attempt. i was ok with this as most of the time they had a good solo experience. but iv had enough of it after for honor and almost every new gen game fails in the simple things, you can barely play one game if you sit down for an hour and its a MULTIPLAYER GAME. so this is the last game im purchasing from ubisoft, in fact i have returned it and the only way i could get my money back was if it was a faulty product which it was.
cheers for another game screw up
It only took an entire month to get it to the top priority ... that's not too bad. I think that's faster than the Division connection issues. Ubisoft is learning.
