Is there a way to make the minimap point North at all times?

Currently, "up" on the minimap is whatever direction your camera is facing. Whenever I have the option, I always prefer to play games where North is always "up" on the minimap, as I find this both easier to keep straight in my own head, as well as easier to communicate to others. However, I cannot find an option to change the configuration of the minimap through the in-game settings. Is there an option I'm missing in the settings?

Not only is this a personal preference of mine, but I also feel this is essential in Wildlands any time you are playing with other human players. I have certain friends who are, shall we say, "directionally challenged," and it would be a HUGE help to be able to say "east," and have them know I'm talking about the right side of their minimap. Reading the small "N" symbol, then doing a cartwheel in your brain to align yourself "east," isn't nearly as intuitive, in my experience.

If there's no in-game setting (I can't find one), is there perhaps a line I could insert into a .cfg file to get this effect? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting about this Swash02,

I am not sure personally on if this is an option in-game or not at the moment. I will request some info on it to try and find out for you!
